We appreciate the patient bringing his concerns about billing to our attention.? We have reviewed documentation for his appointments and confirm that an error in posting was made.? We appreciate being advised of the member’s concerns.? He was evaluated in our office and scheduled for a comprehensive evaluation on December 22, but did not show for the appointment.? Based on information shared in this complaint, we have attempted to contact the member to offer an urgent appointment so his chief complaint can be addressed but he has not returned our call.? We are committed to providing an appointment once we are contacted by the member

We have reviewed the records from Ms***’s visits to our Advantage Dental Clinic in Coos Bay. We cannot confirm a charge of $for nutritional counseling. Our records do show a record of nutritional counseling; however, this was at no charge to Ms***. The $fee she
is referring to is for a filling done on 5/12/16. This fee is correct and valid in accordance with the terms outlined in her dental insurance plan. We have attempted four calls to Ms*** since 10/6/and left two voicemail messages to explain the charge and answer any questions she may have but she has not called back. We remain committed to explaining the discrepancy

I have worked with Advantage Dental and they have agreed that things needed to be handled betterThey stepped up to the plate and resolved the issue to my satisfactionwhat if anything you may do as far as dropping this complaint would be appreciated

We sincerely regret that so much time is required to correct the original problems that occurred with the fabrication of the first upper denture. Fabricating natural looking, but more importantly comfortable, functional dentures is a very difficult task. Some individuals have much
more difficult jaw alignment issues than others. In order to assure that this attempt at fabricating the upper is successful, some additional steps were necessary. We are so close to the completion of this case and if the final tis acceptable the case can move forward to completion. We apologize that this patient has had such a long wait to receive her completed remake of the original denture. We can only hope that when delivered the final product will be esthetic and very functional
