Review: I bought a pair of glasses, they were not the correct vision when I went to pick them up, I returned a couple weeks later and they still were not correct, I asked for my money back, and they would not give me a full refund. They charged me for the price they had to pay for the lenses. I did not even take them out of their office! they charged me $90.00 for their mistake. I think this is unfair and very upsetting, I should not have to pay for their mistake.

MS. [redacted]'s first pair of glasses were made incorrectly and we immediately ordered her another pair of glasses that were correct. When she came into pick them up she put them on and didn't like them. She refused to wear them or take them to try them. She never gave the glasses a chance and they were office glasses so she would need to try them at work. Ms. [redacted] was given more of a refund than our policy states. The policy states that we only give 50% refund and she was given back $399 on a $489 glasses purchase. The $90 that was not given was for the lab charge for the corrected lenses that were made for her. We do not get a refund on lenses that are made if there isn't anything wrong with them. Ms. [redacted]'s husband had called us also to get a refund because they were purchasing glasses elsewhere before she even received the remade glasses. We tried to accommodate and rectify the situation but she was unwilling to see if the glasses would work. Ms. [redacted] had worked with Dr. [redacted] in the past and we were surprised at her unwillingness to try the glasses. In Dr. [redacted]'s twenty years in practice he has never received a complaint from your firm as we have always been very fair and accommodating to our patients and their needs. I feel that Ms. [redacted] had buyers remorse due to the fact that her husband tried to cancel the order.

We have sent the following letter to the consumer:

Please find the enclosed amount of funds in dispute. You should know in the twenty eight years of practice and twenty two years in Redding we have NEVER had a complaint that has risen to this level. We have ALWAYS been fair and respectful of our patient family and have gone above and beyond to assure that our patients are happy and satisfied with our product and services. Having worked with me, you are aware of this. We would have gladly refunded all your funds if you would have given the glasses a try and they did not work after a short trial of wear. You know that adaptation sometimes takes time. You having worked for [redacted] most certainly know this.
