The customer came to us to replace his old lug nuts with new ones he bought at America's Tires here in TurlockHe said that the guys at Americas tires told him that the ones they gave him were the correct ones for his vehicle so we put them on like we have done hundreds of timesFirst, we take off the old lugs and put the new ones on by hand and once the lugs are hand tightened we use the impact wrench to tighten them more so that they do not come looseAll of the new lugs went on fineThe customer came back a few hours later and said that he could not get the new lugs off so I tried to use the impact wrench to loosen them, it didn't work so I stopped because if I kept using the wrench it could snap off the whole bolt It turned out to be that the lugs he came to us with were not the correct ones for his vehicle but there was no way for us to know thatThat problem should be resolved between him and Americas Tire, we just installed them but they sold him the wrong lugsWhen a customer brings us something to install ,the customer knows for sure that that part will fit to their vehicleWe cant check for something if we don't know what we're checking for As for resolving this, my boss says that he is willing to help him but there are other places where he can get the repairs done other than [redacted] that do not charge as much
