Three years ago we visited several Home Shows, got bids and purchased windows for the front of our house from Advantage Home ImprovementsBIG MISTAKE we have had major issues with four of the five windowsIt took three years to resolve one issue, two months to resolve another and three months to get a replacement for a window that had the thermal seal fail The windows were less than three years old but we had to pay for the failed window
The owner works hard to sell Himself and oh by the way, he also has windows to sellWe made a huge mistake by falling for that "Nice Guy" saleA company is only as good as their customer service and Advantage Home Improvements fails in that respect
We have no issues with the back windows we bought from ***We just bought all new doors and windows for our retirement home from ***Excellent products, installed correctly without a single issue and they have already made a huge impact on the houseOverall *** has been a much better experience than Advantage Home Improvement Why in the world we ever chose to go elsewhere baffles both of usWe just thought we were getting a better product We were wrong
My review comes from years ago when I had Advantage out to give me an estimate on repairs from hail damageI considered them because they had installed my windows
several years before that*** came out and I went through everything that needed repaired and also explained the budget because it was to be covered by the insurance claimA couple weeks later he had a company come out to replace the roofEverything went well with thatThen I wouldn't hear from him I would call, he wouldn't return my calls but he would my husbandsHe said that his "cabinet guy" was in the process of moving and that he had to wait for him before he could replace that cabinets (That he wrote on during the first visit)The siding he was not wanting to replace the section that needed replacing he wanted to replace all of itmonths passed with calling back and forth and no more workHe kept saying that he was waiting on contractorsHe said that the cabinet guy we were waiting on went out of business and he didn't have anyone else to do itFinally my husband (not me because he still wouldn't take my calls) had to call him and ask if we needed to find someone elseHe said yes and hung up I am surprised that they are still in the Revdex.com with a A+ ratingI wouldn't not trust this company to do anythingI still get upset when I think about how long this salesman kept me on the hook waiting for work to be done that he had no intention of ever completing because it was a small job

We live in Red Oak, IA, so they drove an hour each way and still got it done in one day! We had them enclose a concrete patio and make it a season porch
*** had an *** HVAC installed.in the patio Everything was done with perfection and respect They have the experience and no wasted time on their part, they knew what they were doing and the next step That was years ago and it is just as good today This is you company to go to! They were thousands of dollars cheaper than a quote from Lincoln, NE!
