At Advantage Kia we are truly committed to customer service and we are constantly evaluating our staff and processes for ways to make them betterWe have reviewed the customers initial paperwork and the rustproofing package is clearly denoted and also on her final contract as a separate line itemIf she has not had the rustproofing package installed she is eligible for a full refundShe will simply have to sign a cancellation formWe are also willing to inspect the hole in her carpet and offer a repair of said item if it happened prior to delivery dateWe have multiple online pictures that will show the condition at time of saleThe other unthinkable acts are both unfortunate and irresponsible to accuse a business of committing and include in this complaint

I would first like to point out that this complaint was not filed by *** ***, it was filed by a relative that was not present at time of deliveryMs*** came into our dealership and attempted to lease a new Kia Soul; however based on her credit rating she did not qualifyWe worked on
trying to secure a loan and Ms*** left and told us to contact her when and if we were able to get her approvedWe contacted the bank and they denied her on a lease; however they approved her on a pre-driven Kia Soul that only had milesWe called her back into the dealership, showed her the car and she agreed to the terms and signed the contractThe following Monday after her initial purchase date, we called her back in because we were able to secure a better rate which lowered her payment and she left completely satisfiedWe told her about the Revdex.com complaint and she had no idea it was filedShe went onto the website and tried to remove it and was unable to since she was not the person that filed itWe would like this complaint to be removed from our records since it was not filed by the customer

Went in to purchase a vehicle advertised on their website as well as many other websitesInitial contact was pleasant but that didn't last longOnce we started to discuss numbers the games startedWhere we presented with an offer to purchase the vehicle at the advertised price, no To our surprise we were told the vehicle would be almost $3,more than advertised price because they had already done paint and interior protection as well as pre certified the vehicle as a factory certified vehicleWhen we told them we had no interest in these items the response was the work was already done and could not be removed so we must pay these chargesAfter almost an hour they finally backed down on the pre certified charges and said since the paint and interior protection was already done we must pay $for this, no option as a consumer to decide if we wanted this or notWhy wasn't this vehicle advertised for the price including these items if they were already done and there was no option but to pay for themIn my opinion this is bait and switch, get you in the door with an attractive price then drop the hammer with their version of reality, a price $3,higherJust when you think the worst is behind you since you have finally come to terms on purchase price the roller coaster rounds the top and spirals downward againFinancing games begin, being told you will be paying x% interest but when you do the calculations you would actually be paying an interest rate almost times what was quotedWhen you call them on it they argue with you telling you your numbers are wrong but refuse to show you anything to prove their numbers Once again after almost an hour of this they finally present you with a quote for financing with a payment within pennies of what you said it should be an hour ago You are thinking great we can sign some papers and be out of here soon, wrong again You get seated in a waiting room in queue to sign papers, minutes later you finally get the privilege to be escorted in to sign papers Almost done? Nope now we have to listen to the presentation by the finance manager on all the extended warranty options even after we told him we had no interest in these productsThen basically told we were stupid for not considering any of these options, what if they were only $per month Big surprise coming herenothing even close to $per month, more like $- $per monthOver hours later we are now leaving only to get in the vehicle we just purchased to find the gas tank nearly empty There is absolutely no reason it should take over four hours to purchase a vehicle In my opinion this dealership needs to rethink their old school way of doing business and realize this is Can't wait until the day I can purchase a car on *** and it will be delivered to my house free of charge Think that won't happen, so did all the struggling big box stores a few years ago

I purchased a used vehicle in December with the promise that all their used vehicles are serviced and current. The night of my purchase, I noticed a chip in the windshield. I test drove my vehicle when the sun was still out and did not notice this chip. I called the next morning in regards to this chip and basically was told it was my problem to fix. I had called this place 3 more times in the 2 days after my purchase and was not answered back. They also sold me the vehicle with an empty tank of gas! My purchase information was false. The mileage was documented about 500 miles less of what the actual mileage was. My interest rate that was promised to me before my purchase was 9-10%, after all the paper work, my interest rate was 19%. As I read over my paper work with my finance company, they are financing me the entire price of the vehicle, none of my down payment reflected in this amount, given that I put down $2100 because I was a first time car buyer with 0 credit. They made me feel like they were doing me a favor. The same week of my purchase, the engine light came on. Turns out I had 16% of oil life in my vehicle. It has not even been two months and now I need a brake job.

I went into this dealer to only 'look' at cars and told them that when I entered. I was held there for over two hours with them trying to force me to buy something I did not want! I had to ask for my keys back five times after they test drove my car!! When they gave them back the car was parked way over by the service dept. as if they knew they were going to force me to buy! They told me I had a gasket oil leak running down the engine!! I took it to my service center right away and there was nothing!!! A month later I get a letter that they can't offer me credit as the key factors are: Lack of loan info(I own my car and have for 11 years!), too many accts. with balances(I have three with small balances), too few accts. paid as agreed(all pd. on time!), lack of recent auto loan! (again I own my car!) My credit score was 821!!!! The letter stated I could call the Finance Director to find out more info. I did and he told me to ignore the letter as they send it to everyone who doesn't proceed with a purchase!!! This is terrible! If I was good enough to buy it that day don't wait a month and tell me how bad a risk I am for a car loan!! I wouldn't buy a car from this bunch if they gave it to me!!! Horrible experience!!!

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
This statement from the dealership is only partially true. They said they would "allow me" to trade in my vehicle that I just bought and that I could buy another vehicle from them. I specifically asked their salesman, [redacted] on 8/27/16 if it would just be the difference between the price of the two vehicles. He put me on hold and after speaking to the manager he said it would "definitely be more than the difference between the two vehicles". They did offer me a credit of an unspecified amount for their service department. I have absolutely no intention of ever spending another penny at this dealership as they have done nothing but lie and deceive from the moment I stepped into their business. An agreement is unlikely with this business because they are completely untrustworthy. At this point I would like to proceed with arbitration. Thank you.
Sincerely,

I appreciate the response, and hope you truly reevaluate the pricing strategy I was informed of over the phone.
Thank you.
