I am writing in disappointment about an issue that occurred on Friday, October My husband and I had a reservation booked and paid for with your company When we arrived at the rental counter in Atlanta, we waited for nearly minutes only to be told there were no more cars available and we could either put our name on a 'wait list' if cars arrived or get a refund This put us in a precarious position as we needed to make a hour drive to Chattanooga later that evening and it was now 10:pm with no car We found another car about minutes later but of course had to pay the going rate for an on the spot reservation I feel this is an unacceptable way to do business Furthermore, I called your customer service department and was told that cars are not guaranteed Please explain why I have to PAY to reserve a car that is not even guaranteed to be there for me (Having a car waiting and ready for me is also a 'value' you emphasize for your company on your website, fyi)I am highly disappointed in this experience and feel that Advantage minimally owes us a refund for the cost between the price we ended up paying at [redacted] and the price we booked our car at with Advantage It is extremely unprofessional to leave your customers in a bind the way you did to us and about other people in line Isn't that the purpose of a reservation I am very disappointed In addition, I have emailed this to the customer service email address twice now and have not heard a thing Very, very disappointing Regards, Kristen W

Avoid advantage rent a car at all coast.they will keep charging u credit card over and over..up to the point u will has to cancel u cCard

Unlimited mileage is not unlimited for this companyI reserved a car and brought in my reservation email which clearly stated at the top "Unlimited Mileage." They then told me that there was a mileage cap on people who lived in stateI brought out my email which stated "Unlimited" and they then told me that 3rd party websites advertise unlimited, but that I needed to read the customer agreement which states otherwiseI can't believe this company expects everyone to read a customer agreement before renting a carThey are very aware that there is advertising happening on the bigger rent a car websites, and they are simply choosing to do nothing about itWorst rental car experience I have ever had

When we arrived at the rental counter in Atlanta, we waited for nearly 45 minutes only to be told there were no more cars available and we could either put our name on a 'wait list' if cars arrived or get a refund. This put us in a precarious position as we needed to make a 2 hour drive to Chattanooga later that evening and it was now 10:45 pm with no car. We found another car about 30 minutes later but of course had to pay the going rate for an on the spot reservation. I feel this is an unacceptable way to do business. Furthermore, I called your customer service department and was told that cars are not guaranteed. Please explain why I have to PAY to reserve a car that is not even guaranteed to be there for me (Having a car waiting and ready for me is also a 'value' you emphasize for your company on your website, fyi). I am highly disappointed in this experience and feel that Advantage minimally owes us a refund for the cost between the price we ended up paying at [redacted] and the price we booked our car at with Advantage. It is extremely unprofessional to leave your customers in a bind the way you did to us and about 15 other people in line. Isn't that the purpose of a reservation. I am very disappointed.

In addition, I have emailed this to the customer service email address twice now and have not heard a thing. Very, very disappointing.

Review: We arrive to the counter at the airport at 11pm, directly from our flight and were told there were no cars available and we would have to make other arrangements.There was no "we are sory, let us find something for you and cover the expense, just "we can;t help you!" When I told the girl at the counter that she would need to find us a car at another rental company she was very angry!! We were told to go next door to Dollar rental where we would pay three times as much for the rental! Here we are at 11:30-12am in the morning with no car, stranded in NY!! I asked the girl at the counter why don't we have a car when we had a reservation and I was told that reservations don't guarantee a car with there company. UNBELIEVABLE! I am a travel agent and have NEVER in my years of travel or booking travel experienced anything so unprofessional!! I am putting the word out to our company of 60,000 agents to NEVER book thru this company!!!!!! FURIOUS BEYOND WORDS!! This company doesn't need to be in business based on the numerous consumer affairs complaints I see on the internet!!Desired Settlement: I want them to cover the expense due to their not honoring there reservation.

Review: My wife and I arrived at Airport Advantage Rent A Car located at [redacted] Airport and rented a car for 2 days to return it at the same airport before taking a plane out of [redacted] at 6:30AM. The salesperson at the station never told us that they do not open until 6AM. On the day we had to take the flight out of the city, we arrived at the drop off location at 5AM and found it's closed and there was no way to return it unless abandoning it. I called their 1-800 number and their call center employee could not even give me any solution for it. We decided to change our flight to a later one but the airline could not provide us any flight on the same day at the location. They could only provide us a flight from [redacted] Airport which was 30 miles away from [redacted]. We called the 1-800 number again to make sure that we can drop off the car at their place at [redacted] Airport, then paid the airline $150 OUT OF OUR OWN POCKET to make the flight change. The flight was scheduled to depart at 12PM so we wasted about 6 hours and $150 because of the person at the Advantage Rent A Car at [redacted] Airport never informed us about the drop off hour. What's even worse is that they charged us $36 more for dropping off the rented car at the [redacted] Airport, not [redacted] Airport, which was impossible for us to do. We even contacted the Advantage Rent A Car salesman at the [redacted] Airport location after we changed the schedule letting him know the situation and he confirmed that we can drop it off at [redacted] Airport. We contacted our credit card company and they credited us the difference, then this guy at Advantage Rent A Car at [redacted] Airport sent an invoice copy to the credit card company to cancel the dispute.Desired Settlement: Need a complete refund of $36 and IF YOU ARE REALLY SORRY ABOUT WHAT WE HAD GONE THROUGH THAT DAY WITH $150 OF FLIGHT CHANGE AND 6 HOURS OF WASTED TIME, YOU'D BETTER REFUND US AT LEAST $150 EXTRA.

I want to report bait-and-switch tactics at Jacksonville Airport Advantage. The rental car I had reserved was not available when I arrived, and the agents were unable to say when the type of car would be available. They offered to "upgrade" me to the next level of car -- at an increased price! When we all realized it would be probabnly at least a half hour before the car would be ready, I agreed, reluctantly, to pay an additional $24. But I was not happy about it and I still am not; it was wrong. I contacted Advantage and a regional manager told me I would hear from someone in Jacksonville "within 48 hours." That was nearly two weeks ago.

this company is charging a fee for a cracked windshield when there cars are returned even though there in no visible crack on the cars window at the time of renting and returning. this is not right and they should not be able to charge customers for something that they can not prove or giving in writing why this charge is being charged.
