On December 27, 2015, I rented a car from Advantage Car RentalThe car should have been available for rental at the kiosk in the *** *** *** ***I was told by the rental clerk at the kiosk that it was not possible to rent the car from her, and I had to wit for the shuttle to take us over to the car rental area outside of the airportWhen we arrived at the rental area, we had to wait minutes to rent a car due to a long line a few rental employees to handle the lineWhen it was my turn, I was informed that there was only "1" car available for me to rent (Chevy Impala)I was escorted to the car by an employeeUpon inspection of the car, I noticed that the car was dirty and in need of washingI pointed this out to the rental clerk who then informed me that Advantage had no car washing facilities at the car rental facility off airport groundsNo apology was offeredIt was a take it or leave it attitude about the car presentedI found this experience to be very unprofessional, coupled with terrible customer serviceI have been renting cars for decades with other companies and never experienced this lack of basic customer serviceI informed our travel agent (*** ***) at *** *** ** *** ** who has been trying to follow up with Advantage management and has gotten nowhere (runarounds from personnel she has spoken to)Do customers have any rights??? How do we go forward from here??
