We recently received your complaint from *** ***, our records show a call was received from the customer in late AprilI met with the homeowner and a mold test was taken and analyzed, results provided to Mr*** with a written estimate a week laterThe job started in the first
week of May based the customer's request to coordinate activities with his rooferremediation was started on the same day as the roof sheathing was doneRoofer replaced only some sheathing not all. Recommended Remediation:Set up complaintHepa vac all surfaces, Apply antimicrobials to all sheathing, treat all sheathing and framing that is not being replaced, and when roofing is being done, treat the framingOpen any soffit vent to insure not vent to insure not blockage caused by insulation in the cavityApply *** ***, a mold inhibitor, to all affected surfaces to prevent future mold growthAir scrubbers will be used in the remediation processApprox Cost 1700.00-Unfortunately I had a medical emergency in the last fee weeks of May which required multiple surgeries, I returned in as soon as I was cleared to return to work which was approx a month laterAt that time remediation was completed based on the estimateWe have not received any correspondence for Mr*** until receipt of his complaint by your organization

On June 26 client was sent the following:Hi [redacted] Sorry for the delay in the report. I inspected the areaof your concern in the bedroom roof sheathing. a couple of weeks ago. The test results show a presence of mold spores on thewood, which appears dark and water stained. The spore's are...

in a dormant stateand not elevated. [redacted] is found on wetted wood and can havesome respiratory issues in some individuals( see p4) Moisture readings are inthe lower levels and the sheathing is not wet at this time. It would be advisable to remediate the wood, prior tosheet rocking.  It would include the hepavacuuming, applying antimicrobials, and coatings with [redacted] to preventfuture mold growth.All of this would be under negative containment so as notto spread the spores to other areas of the home and protect the safety of theoccupants. The job would be completed in one day and the cost wouldbe approximately  750.00. If you have any questions, or would like to schedule thework, please contact us to schedule. Sincerely, [redacted]Advantage Restoration[redacted]
