The proposed work that you agreed to was not hourly work. The work performed was based on the job. We completed a portion of that job that we both agreed to. The rest of the job was not completed at your request. You are only being billed for the portion of the job that you approved and agreed to pay. I'm sorry but we do not plan to discount the work performed and agreed to by you.

never once did they apologize for their horrible employee.  They offered to do the work originally on Tuesday gee I work and would not be home that is why they were hired for the two days I had off.  They offered sat no that would not work either so basically I was stuck finishing the work myself
As far as the bill it went from being billed for 13 hours and then I pointed out he worked maybe 9 hrs to being billed by the job I tried to get them to work with me on the bill but was told basically pay up or else. So no I am not happy they did not try and work with me and basically tried to blame me for not having enough paint as the cause of everything.  I want an apology and I want them to give me a refund of at least $100 now for this

work completed which she agreed to pay. There is no dispute about the work which was completed or the cost therein. Payment was received in full for the work which was completed. Therefor no further action or compromise is available for this situation.

Review: I had hired Advent Handyman services to take down some mirrors from a wall, paint the wall, take out a light in the ceiling above

my kitchen and then paint my ceiling. They came over and looked at the work and told me having two days should easily be met a gentlemen who came out and did the work showed up late the first day and then kind of acted like he really did not know how to take the mirrors off the wall. I even made a suggestion that he cover the mirrors before he hit it as I didn't want glass all over my carpeting. So this was done and came down and there were some areas where the glue was that needed to be repaired and then wall textured and then painted, no big deal. In the kitchen he started complaining that I bought the wrong type of light as it would make he have to do some work to the ceiling as the light was a little smaller than the old light. He complained and then went away for an hour to "get some parts" When he came back he did more complaining and finally finished the work and left for the day. He came back the next day and started work again and went then went to the office for 1 hr and 40 min and then came back to start painting. He complained that I did not buy enough paint okay I started to go get more paint. Then he indicated that he could not install the light as the plaster was not dry and so would not paint either. Then he left for a nice Friday afternoon off. I called Advent and told them what happened and was told the owner would call me, he called just before I left for a meeting and basically told me all this was my fault because I did not have enough paint. On Monday I got a bill and went from the original $1090 to $721 as he had worked 13 hrs. I explained that no he did not work 13 hrs, maybe 9 to 10 hrs and he did not do all the work I was being billed for. On Tuesday I was told the bill was for the work performed. I asked for a for them to work with me on the bill and if they could reduce it by $100 I would be fine for the work the little work done. On Wed I was basically told too bad this is the bill and pay up. Never got an apology or any hint of working with me on this just pay up. I have since paid the bill.Desired Settlement: I never received so much as an apology for him basically leaving me with most of the work undone and having to finish it

myself. I asked that they reduce the bill by $100 but would have settled for $50 off the bill. Instead I got a pay up we
