Adventist Rehabilitation Hospital of Maryland acknowledges that one of the reasons he initially contacted us was because of the listed price on the intranet for the driving evaluation serviceWhile we did not receive any money for the service provided by the driving school, we would like to offer the client the disputed $difference along with our apologies for any inconvenience to him
Our process and that of the driving school includes several reviews of the actual price of the service at prior to the evaluationWe will be assessing whether our current process is adequate to ensure that everyone knows the price of the service prior to coming to the appointmentThe website has been updated to reflect the change in the driving evaluation

Review: My daughter who is the service chief discharge planning nursing services at [redacted] provided me with 3 resources to get a clinical driving evaluation and behind-the-wheel evaluation. We choose the program at Adventist because of the location and the price. My other daughter double checked the website the day of the appointment and printed out the downloaded brochure to bring with us to the appointment. The instructor said that he was under contract with Adventist Rehab to provide this service instead of their prior in-house service provider, but that his price was $600 for the clinical evaluation and behind the wheel evaluation, not the published $220 for clinical evaluation and $220 for behind the wheel evaluation, total of $440. So I had to pay $160 more that was advertised for this service. This is incorrect price advertising. The instructor brought the brochure to his hospital administration, but we were told that the cost for his services would be $600 not the price in the brochure. This is not a complaint about the instructor or the service, just the cost over and above the advertised rates. You may speak with my daughter [redacted] about this matter.Desired Settlement: Refund of $160 from Adventist, the difference in price between advertised price($220 for clinical evaluation+$220 for behind the wheel evaluation)that was in online brochure downloaded from Advent website and the $600 cost demanded at the appointment. We were told that Adventist had hired him as an independent contractor to provide this service and that the published prices were not correct price. The driving instructor did take the printed brochure to the hospital administrator.
