Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: With all due respect MrR***, I called the dealership several times to speak with you to try and resolve the matter regarding the negotiated new battery unable to reach youI emailed you on 8/and didn't hear back from youSo then, I emailed the principal dealership owner on 8/and didn't hear back againThe next step is a complaint to the Revdex.com since there was no responseI would have hoped we could have worked this out before-handAs you know I negotiated this deal in writing the day before coming out to Laramie WY from Cincinnati OH to pithe carI did not agree to not get a new batteryI appreciate that you had put the car on the lift again to double-check the frame for me but that doesn't mean your mechanics say that the old corroded battery is ok, when it was already agreed to get a new battery per the written negotiated dealI didn't ask for new tires (it needed new ones) and I paid to have the gasket covers and brake-pads replaced at your repair shopAll I asked for was the negotiated new battery in writingThat's itI've attached a picture of the old corroded battery (see attached)This is why I negotiated a new battery in writing as a part of the deal Regards, [redacted]

To whom it may concern, Reference to the Complaint filed involving the pre-owned *** ***, it was agreed to do repairs requested by the customerIt was found along the way that the vehicle did not need a new battery, the customer was advised of this and agreed we did not need to replace

We have already agreed to buy back the customer's vehicle and refund his money. I'm not sure what else they want us to do.

I am rejecting this response because:  With all due respect Mr. R[redacted], I called the dealership several times to speak with you to try and resolve the matter regarding the negotiated new battery unable to reach you. I emailed you on 8/10 and didn't hear back from you. So then, I emailed the principal dealership owner on 8/19 and didn't hear back again. The next step is a complaint to the Revdex.com since there was no response. I would have hoped we could have worked this out before-hand. As you know I negotiated this deal in writing the day before coming out to Laramie WY from Cincinnati OH to pick-up the car. I did not agree to not get a new battery. I appreciate that you had put the car on the lift again to double-check the frame for me but that doesn't mean your mechanics say that the old corroded battery is ok, when it was already agreed to get a new battery per the written negotiated deal. I didn't ask for new tires (it needed 4 new ones) and I paid to have the gasket covers and brake-pads replaced at your repair shop. All I asked for was the negotiated new battery in writing.
