We just returned from a 13 day trip to Botswana and Zimbabwe and couldn’t be more pleased and thrilled with the planning and service provided by Mark at Adventure to Africa! In addition to game watching, it was our honeymoon. Mark listened to what we wanted and provided exactly that plus much more. He arranged to have champagne, a personalized greeting, and welcome gifts waiting for us upon arrival at each lodge. He checked on us twice during our stay, and he got the safari lodges to treat us like royalty. He set up candlelight champagne dinners for us under the stars at private tables for two. Being our first trip to Africa, we weren’t certain where we should visit, but Mark advised us expertly and always had our safety and satisfaction foremost in his mind. All transfers were arranged for us, and the trip prep was extraordinary (immunizations, things to take, etc.). If you are looking for a knowledgeable and thorough expert you cannot do better than Mark and Poldi at Adventure to Africa! We recommend them highly!

In planning for a safari trip, we learned of Adventure to Africa at a travel show in NYC. We knew the countries we wanted to visit and discussed the trip with several travel companies, large and small. Adventure to Africa listened to our objectives and budget and made proposal to meet them. Others gave us off the shelf options. Adventure to Africa recommended breaking up the safari camps with visits to Cape Town and Johannesburg in a way that made the trip much more enjoyable than we first intended. The Safari camps spanned a variety of ecological areas and a variety of bush camp operators. All of the activities suggested were ideal and reservations accurate and timely. This is the first time in our travels an advisor checked up during the trip to assure everything met our expectations, much less twice. We found the recommendations made were helpful and exhibited broad and deep experience. Restaurants suggested ran the gamut from fine dining to exotic to an excellent, if humble, fish house on a pier outside of Cape Town. The Cape wine tour was excellent and customized to our needs. We will recommend Adventure to Africa to anyone planning a trip to Africa.

All in all, Mark, this "adventure" would not have come off so brilliantly without you and your obvious attention to detail- also it was definitely evident that you REALLY listened to us with respect to what we wanted with this adventure- not only did you hit a home run- you knocked it outta the park!!
