Review: I responded to a fax that I received which offered all-inclusive travel, including airfare, to several destinations for as little as $189 per person. I was told by the manager that I would be staying in the [redacted] in [redacted]. The company demamned that I pay an upfront fee to activate my travel voucher. I paid the fee immediately. I was then forwarded to a second company, [redacted] and asked to pay yet another fee, which I did. I was then told to wait to receive my travel voucher. Once I received my travel voucher from a third company, [redacted], I was asked to pay an additional $600.00, which I paid immediately. I was then told to submit travel dates and wait for my reservation confirmation. I submitted travel a request for travel in April, May, June, and July of this year. I was told that there was no availability. I contacted Adventure to Remember and was told by the Manager, Bob, that he would e-mail the owner of [redacted] to ensure that my travel plans were approved. I received an e-mail from [redacted] which told me that the airfare was no longer included, that I must attend a time share presentation, and that I would now be staying in a [redacted]. This is not the terms of the package that I purchased. I would like to have all of my money returned.Desired Settlement: I would like my money returned, in full.

Review: My daughter received information about some vacation offers over her work fax. She called made some inquiries then contacted my husband and I about doing a trip. I then contacted Adventure to Remember to ask questions on the procedure as well. My daughter and I were given the same information and after having checking into the possibilities of of scams and complaints we found nothing at that time. We purchased our vacation then the nightmare started. After receiving my payment they sent out the certified package as explained. Within the package was the next step for processing. Once again forms were filled out and the booking fee we were told about then was sent. We were told upon the purchase that we would receive our package in 14 days. It took longer and several calls to finally get it. Then with the next step that we were not informed about another 14 days to get to the booking process. Once they received the money order and form it took well over the 14 days. Once I received my email conformation I called to verify how to complete the new form needed. Did so in less than 24 hours and heard nothing until we called. Now they say my daughter has to fill out and fax form in. She does so and faxes right back and then the wait begins for the 14 day certified mail. That was received 2 days ago and now it says they need another $796 and another 14 days to get to the booking process. We were told upfront we could either travel Nov 1 - 17 or Dec 1-17 of anytime after the first of the year. We were not told about we needed 90 days to book, which eliminated the Nov and Dec dates as an option. Nor were told there were 3 companies involved in the whole process. Of course by this time the period in which they say you can get a refund has passed. This whole ordeal has been unbelievable. This company did completely explain the process from purchase to trip time in a complete and thorough manner. Never said there would be three 14 day periods to complete the process and misquoted fees. Very Unsatisfied.Desired Settlement: I want a refund of my $900 dollars since the entire process was not completely explained and my dates for travel are no longer an option. I also feel I should get a refund from the second company called [redacted] as well. Just want my money back so I can make other arrangements.

The check was payable to a [redacted]. then I was told I had to pay $138 to activate booking and received package.( a paper) the paer said Thank you from [redacted] # ###-###-#### then on the back it gave information to call [redacted] to make reservations. when called they wanted another $97.82 to activate the package deal but that charge was payable to [redacted] for INT Acapulco. then last week they sent email saying I need to pay tax and fees of $596.00 or they would not process the vacation package and after it was paid they could not guarantee the dates.

Review: My sister and I purchased a Vacation package from Adventure to Remember in February 2014. We would not have an issue if it was not a scam. From the time we purchased the pacage which initially said it was $89.99 but we called we were asked to pay $180 per person for a total of $380 including a processing fee. We were also told that the payment would be broken up into 3 for a total of $450 approximately. After discussing it with my sister we decided that ok to get an all inclusive vacation including airfare would be well worth it and so we proceeded. Though we were talking to Emily from Adventure to Remember our payment was ran by [redacted] but we could only pay with the routing and checking account number they didn't take debit or credit cards. After we paid the $380 they then told us that we would receive a package in the mail and which we did asking us for a $69 dollar processing fee per person but that we could only pay that with a money order and we complied. After that they sent us something else by certified mail claiming that it was the actual vacation registration voucher and which it asked us to pay another processing fee of $99 and that when I knew something wasn't right seriously. I called [redacted] which now is the new company we are dealing with since we paid the $380 vacation trip to Adventure to remember and they are supposed to be the travel agency. When I called them I asked why we are required to pay another registration fee for we have already paid it. The lady said that we paid them that fee so that we could use their service for discounted vacations but that it goes towards nothing which is something we never informed. I then asked if I could have the number to [redacted] which is the company that is doing the booking for our trip and the rep stated to me that they may not be able to give me any answer and I told her I would still be calling. After hanging up with the rep I called this number for Grand Incentives with the address of [redacted] Fl [redacted] but the phone kept ringing with no answering service came on and after 35 minutes I finally hung up. I then called [redacted] back and asked for a refund they told me to write an email and which I did and they said they will only refund the money paid to them but not the money paid to Adventure to Remember through [redacted].Desired Settlement: I would like for this company to refund all of the monies we have given to them and their affiliates. Also I know its hard to control scammers but I would like for them to be held accountable for taking advantage of hard working citizens.

Review: Received a fax at work advertising the sale of "left over business travel"...

After paying the initial $600 as advertised on the original faxed flier, I was required to pay additional sums of money in order to obtain the travel vouchers. Additionally the original terms such as 1) Departure airport, 2)Destination city, 3) Minimum age to travel 4) Selection of travel dates and 4) Cost of travel were not honored AND I have been unable to contact the business in order to request a refund. They refuse to provide an address, fax number or correct email addressDesired Settlement: Refund

Review: On Nov. 14, 2013 I received confirmation of vacation vouchers I purchased from Adventures to Remember. The agent I spoke to on or around Nov. 8-10 was [redacted]. I spoke with him at length and numerous times before I purchased the vacation vouchers. We spoke in great detail of how I was purchasing these vacations for my children, grandchildren, my husband and I, as we always treat our family to vacation each year. There are 11 in our family. Therefore, I purchased 7 adult vouchers for Hawaii, as **. [redacted] told me I could not purchase one for anyone under 21. These would be consider "add-ons' and I would only be responsible for their flight to. I spoke to **. [redacted] approximately 6 times on the day of the purchase. I was reluctant, and I had many, many questions. I pinned **. [redacted] down on alot of things. We talked about how our family always vacations together, even staying all together in the same 4 bedroom condo! He knew very well we were planning to go together, stay together as we have every year for 30 years. He even told me to hurry and get our vacations registered with the "[redacted]" to make sure we could get 2 condos at the same location. He knew what I thought I was buying. He gave me all the details of how the add-ons would not be charged at the hotel, but would have to be counted in the number, therefore needing the 2 condos. As I said, we spoke in great detail about the vacation, with **. [redacted] soothing my nerves with every question I had. Little did I know what was to come. When I received the packet in the mail, and sent to "register" my vacation packages with the "[redacted]" I received a phone call. The lady, [redacted] (first name only, sorry) called me to let me know I could not purchase 7 vouchers. The vouchers, she said, had to be purchased in sets of 2. And I would be required to sign an agreement agreeing that I knew the "[redacted]" would not guarantee that more than 2 travel at the same time. Imagine my outrage! I immediatley started trying to reach **. [redacted] at the number I had for him. I called approx. 10 times in one day for **. [redacted]. However, **. [redacted] was never able to speak to me. Which I found very irrating because on the day he was trying to sell me the vouchers, I was able to speak to him EVERY time I called. He even answered the phone on two of my calls to the ATR. I finally, after much rudeness from customer service, did get to speak to a **. [redacted]. He was supposedly the "manager" of that establishment. I was very upset while speaking and explaining to him how I was lied to and how **. [redacted] would not return my phone calls. **. [redacted] assured me that he would speak to the [redacted] and see if he could take care of my problem, and if they would not guarantee me travel with 11 people that he would start to work on getting me a refund. He promised to call me the following Monday, which would have been the 30th of December. I have yet to receive that call. And today's date is February 4, 2014. Each time I try to call ATR, the call is immediately disconnected! The only response that **. [redacted] had, even though he acknowledged that I was misled, is that I was transferred to a "third" party to confirm my purchase. I did have several questions during the conversation with the "third" party and I was transferred back to **. [redacted], who at that time lied to me once again. But at the end of it all, **. [redacted] knew I was buying a vacation for my entire family. And not for us to go 2 at a time!!!Desired Settlement: Refund of money paid, which is $1500.00 I do not wish to trust this company with any vacation they have to offer. I do not want to board a plane with the feeling of uneasiness I have with this company

Review: Sent money to receive a vacation I have no t received the vacation nor a refund for it.Desired Settlement: Have been asking for a refund for a sale of a vacation I have not received.

Review: I contacted the Travel Center by phone about a vacation package offer for 4days 3 nights for my honeymoon coming in July this year. I spoke with a gentleman named [redacted] at ext [redacted] according to him and the email correspondence. I was informed that this package included airfare and hotel for $189 per person. I paid for myself and bride to be by check over the phone and that was the only form of payment. I think I know why now, cause you cant do bank disputes with electronic checks. I was told that paid for my trip and airfair and that I would receive a package in the mail with instructions to contact travel agency for processing in about 14 days. I was to pay processing and then pay for booking with the booking agent once assigned which would be about 200 per person and the processing was 69 per person. I have not heard from any booking agency and have now received more correspondence about sending in more money for another processing. I have made numerous attempts to contact [redacted] who sold me the package and he is no longer available at the company and was told he was promoted from sales to another position but can never talk to him. The Travel Center is saying they are not familiar with him and this agency, but they work together. I dont know what else to do. I've spent my honeymooon funds trying to book this trip and I not able to get a full refund. I have done some research and find that several complaints have been issued against travel center with The Revdex.com. The contact number for [redacted] is ###-###-####. I was given a customer service number by a guy name [redacted] and female named [redacted]. That number ###-###-#### and only goes to answering machine. The number also for travel center is ###-###-####. Can I get some assistance with getting a full refund? I need my money as soon as possible. Please help!
