Advisors Management has been preparing my family's taxes for the past couple years and almost every experience in the years previous has been positive. This year that has not been so. They received my tax information on a Friday and when I called on Monday to see what the status was, they informed me it would be two weeks. Two weeks went by and I called them to find out if they had been done. They told me they're still being processed but they would have them done soon. I called yet again at the end of the day Monday and they said they are still being processed. I finally called for the last time today and they informed me that the gentleman that was supposed to do them has been sick and they were not sure when he would return. I was under the assumption that they had more than one person employed there that could handle tax preparation but I was mistaken. I ended up sending an email asking to get my taxes prepared free of charge because they could not prepare my taxes by the date I was told. I later received a phone call informing me that they could have them done tomorrow but they could not do it for free. After having my tax information for nearly three weeks now, they will be sending it back and my family and myself will be having our taxes prepared elsewhere. I don't understand why it took a complaint to get them done by a certain time and I feel like I should have been treated a bit better than that after being a loyal customer for years.
