This letter serves as a response to complaint ***The Advisory Board Company (the "Advisory Board") is currently subject to a fraudulent check scam by parties unknownTypically, the fraudster looks for sale items online (e.g., on ***, etc.) and sends a fraudulent/fake check drawn on an
Advisory Board account for more than the amount of the item or service for saleThe receiver of the check seeks to deposit the check and/or withdraw the funds, only to discover that the check is not honored by the Advisory Board's bank because the Advisory Board does not issue checks from this account.While we are sympathetic to the financial predicament that this might cause, the Advisory Board has no relationship whatsoever to the victims, the victims of the scam (e.g., *** ***) are cashing checks drawn on a company with which they have had no business dealingsHere, according to *** ***'s complaint, *** *** replied to an email for a job opportunity with the University of *** ***, not the Advisory Board*** *** did not purchase any goods or services from the Advisory Board, and the Advisory Board did not purchase any goods or services to *** ***We cannot speak to what took part in the transaction because the Advisory Board was not a party to any transaction, and *** *** had no dealings with the Advisory Board at any point in the transaction he describes or, to the Advisory Board's knowledge, any other transaction, would recommend that *** *** alert University of *** *** that they are also being used to perpetrate a fraud and file a police reportThe Advisory Board Company has alerted its bank, reports all fraudulent items of this nature, and it not responsible for any fraudulent activity involving *** ***.Sincerely,Carrie S*Senior Director, Finance The Advisory Board Company

I am rejecting this response because I do not accept information from someone who does not respect my sex. I was born a female, I have a vagina and I AM A MISS/MS. NOT A MR. It is not right to assume gender by a name as unisex as [redacted]. Secondly, security from your bank should have tighter security on your accounts being that you are a company.
