Dear Mr [redacted] ,As per your request, find attached the terms of the Tax Services Agreement package you/your company had with Genesis Tax HouseI’ve also included here the history of monthly payments you have made as well as your “stop payment request” made incorrectly and without any prior notices to Genesis Tax HouseAlthough you did not follow the cancellation procedure as it is spelled out on Article 19, your agreement was in fact cancelled by Genesis Tax House and a credit was issued for the two months as a courtesy for the cancellation date, however there was still last month outstanding on the invoice (also see attached invoice and history of payments and credits)This outstanding balance remained in our system, even though you were contacted numerous times, no payment was made, then the system automatically debited your business account again once the funds became available as it has always done in the pastI believe it is clear that this amount was not only owed, but in fact we were authorized to debit such amount under the same authorization of the previous debits for the same invoice, therefore I am now considering this case closed and will no longer respond to any further inquiries.Thank youSincerely, [redacted] ***, E.A

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ***Please add your rejection comments belowDo send your copy of the agreementIn regards to your cancellation clause I'm well aware since I had hand delivered a copy of my termination letter years ago to the *** office and even then was charge a month cancellation fee- the last of this month fee was debited from my bank account was in March I must reiterate that services have been terminated for years, with the last authorized debit occurring in March of 2013-the last payment ending our contractThus no binding contract exists and no such debits should have been authorized since March While the bank account remains active, the actually business has been dissolved for several years nowPerhaps you will take the time to review your records which will reveal the contract has been terminated and you have mistakenly debited my account.
Regards,
*** ***

Hello Mr***,I'm sorry you feel this wayIt is never the intention of Genesis Tax House to inflict any feelings like this, however as it relates to the debit on your account, this debit was the last monthly payment already pre-authorized by you via the Tax Services Agreement signed by you
related to your company *** *** *** ***.I'm glad to report to you, that *** *** *** ***and you individually (*** ***) have a zero outstanding balance as of today, as it relates to all of the services our company provided you and your company to date. Therefore this was the last debit, and there will be no other debits until you purchase new services with us.I hope this clarifies, please feel free to contact us again in case you have any questions.P.sI have not included a copy of your signed agreement here, as I know you have it, however if you would like me to, please reply requesting as such and will provide you with a copy again.Best Regards,*** *** - President

I'm writing this e-mail to follow-up on a recent complaint I filed (see below). I was unaware that there was a time limit in my complaint. Apparently I'm a few days past my ability to respond and now the complaint is closed. I'm not satisfied with the response from Genesis as the response was a blatant lie regarding a contractual agreement and thus an acceptable debit of my account for $99. I have not conducted business with Genesis in over 3 years and therefore there is no signed agreement. I have had similar issues with this company in the past and specifically sent a letter indicating termination of services in January of 2013, over 3 years ago. This is why the author of the response does not include a copy of the agreement. If this matter is not resolved I will have to take legal action against Genesis for unauthorized debit of my bank account.  Regards,
[redacted]
