thank you so much for the review. We greatly appreciate the time you took out of your day to do this for us and look forward to serving you in anything in the future.

Very impressed with Nathan and his team. They were reliable and swift with the work done to my uneven floors. His team also alerted me to a potential gas leak that I had brewing under my house, which I was able to get fixed before anything bad could happen. I recently voiced a concern over some gaps between my floors and walls that weren't visible when the original work was done due to wall-to-wall carpet. Nathan did not hesitate to request a time to come out and look at it and is not afraid to honor the guarantee. I am very please with Nathan and his company and will use them again in the future.

Thank you so much *** We greatly appreciate your kind words. Looking forward to serving you in the future.

This was the second time to use Advocate. They leveled our rent house after we first bought it. Now we had them do our home. We had a bit of a problem with communication but we got it worked out and they leveled our house in a short time and it is so much better!
The 2 and 3 inch cracks between the windows and bricks are gone. They cleaned up and left the work site clean.

Thank you ***. We greatly appreciate your review. Looking forward to serving you in the future.

They came quickly to give me an estimate. After receiving other estimates, I went with Advocate for several reasons. They were realistic about what could be done. They were pleasant and did not pressure. Their price was very reasonable. When they came out, they worked consistently, did a good job, were cordial and did not mind my looking over their shoulders to watch the process. They cleaned up well, refilling the holes dug out, Lastly, they followed up to ensure everything was done well. I highly recommend this company.

Contractor failed to make me whole after driveway was replaced via warranty. Specialized top coating not provided.
On 31 August 2018, I contracted to have my home's foundation repaired and driveway repaired. The foundation repair went well. The driveway however had a foam injection process accomplished to level up the concrete driveway which had approximately five major cracks, of which most converged in the center. The subcontractor performed the work from 25 September to 29 September 2018. This same contractor also applied the top coating material referred to as "One Day Coating". When the coating was finished, I was assured the seams in the driveway would be sealed with a very special caulking material that would remain flexible and would prevent any water from getting in. However, they told me this very special sealing product wasn't currently available and it had to be ordered. After approximately a week of waiting I called the subcontractor to find out what the status was. Again, it was not in yet. Approximately another week went by then another. It was approximately the third week in October. The October rains hit this area and the driveway wasn't sealed. After a couple days of drying out a young man showed up and started sealing the driveway. The product failed to setup and I notified Advocate of the problem. The subcontractor came out and looked and agreed it failed. Shortly thereafter the original cracks started reappearing. I notified Advocate and they came out and re-leveled the driveway again with the foam injection process. However, the cracking never stopped and spread across the entire driveway. Every time, I spoke to Advocate, the owner kept blaming ground water. I told him I didn't believe this, but he continued with that story along with the subcontractor. Eventually, the owner came out to my property saw the results of work they did and said they would replaced dig out and replace the driveway. However, when he made that comment he asked if I wanted the top coating done again. I was surprised by this and told him lets get the driveway replaced and we'll talk about the top coating later. When you give a 15-year warranty on the product and tell me you will replace the driveway, to me that means the coating material as well as the concrete, for which I paid $6245.00. The driveway was replaced from 4/16/19 to 4/18/19. In the evening of 4/18/19 I called and asked about the coating and what kind of arrangement could be had. He told me $3000.00 to do the top/One day coating process. I told him I would have to discuss this with my wife. His failure/subcontractor's failure to seal the edges of the driveway allowed the rain to get into and under the driveway. The failure to seal was the major contributing factor. I complied with his directions for redirecting rain water from the driveway and personally sealed the areas around the house foundation with a product recommended by the subcontractor, made by Sika. In those areas there have been no reoccurring problems. I want the driveway One coating process put back on my driveway. Without it, one third is done and 2/3rds isn't. It looks ridiculous. The coating was part of the driveway. I want to look all the same. The foam product didn't support the weight of my family's vehicles. Portions taken out of the ground during the removal and driveway replacement crumble in my hands.

Desired Outcome

As I said previously, I want the driveway put back to the finished condition for which I paid. Replacing the driveway is an absolute acknowledgement that their craftsmanship and product didn't live of to expectations and that is why Advocate replaced the driveway. The top One Day coating was lost due to the products failures and failure to seal the driveway.

Advocate Foundation Repair Response • Apr 29, 2019

We will gladly install the top coat. When I spoke with client he was very happy with concrete. He asked me how much it would cost to coat. I gave him a discounted rate. He stated he would call me back after he spoke to his wife. No Call Back. This complaint is completely not justified in my opinion. All he would have had to do is call. This will be handled by mid-June if not sooner. The concrete has to cure for a minimum of 30 days before we can apply top coat.

Customer Response • May 01, 2019

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I accept the response from the business; however, I reserve the right to reopen it should the One Day Top coating not be replaced by mid-June. If it is accomplished then I will be satisfied.

Excellent service and in a timely manner. Professional and discusses all options to fix your foundation.

Could not be happier with the work this company did. Very professional, very hardworking, very friendly staff, answered all my questions. I recommend not wasting time on other estimates, go for the gold star staff and work.

To Whom It May Concern,
I hired Advocate Construction Services LLC, owned by Nathan Moore, to level
my home at *** in Vernon, Texas. He informed me I needed 35
pjers to level it. The State Farm Insurance Inspector said I didn't need nearly that
many, and only on the North side of the house needed that work. Nathan
installed shower grade drains rather than the standard drain for a retaining wall.
According to Insurance standards, drainage holes are usually 4 to 6 inches in
diameter and placed every 3 to 4 feet on the wall. Nathan placed only 4 drains
*total along the entire 75 feetretaining wall. So, needless to say it does ndt drain*
properly and has continued to erode all along the North side of my home. I told
Nathan we needed more dirt or rocks put in, but he just put my brick pavers back
and told me to get gutters.

Desired Outcome

After spending the $11,000 on leveling the house, I then took Nathan's professional advice and spent thousands more on gutters. The gutters did not solve the problem! I continue to have erosion along that . . . North side as deep as two feet. Another Advocate employee left me a note the last day he worked, telling me he'd see me on Friday and they would fix the problem. He never came again. I called the company to inquire about him and was told he was having family problems. I understand crisis come up, however I was definitely taken advantage of. The company states on their website, that their work is guaranteed and "All foundation repairs come with a one time transferable lifetime warranty" I'm in the process of moving to a retirement community and my house is on the marker. As an 83 year_ol9 y.rQman I feel I need to file an official _ . complaint to keep others, like *me, from being taken advant~ge of by Advoeate .. Construction Services and Nathan Moore, owner. Thank youcfor your help.

The last time I spoke with Ms. Thomas was over 1 year ago . The work was performed over 2 years ago . I informed the client that she needed guttering for a part of the warranty requirement . Gutters were not installed in the time as explained I have spoken with her son and all is understood .

I used Advocate Foundation Repair after having four bids for my serious foundation troubles. After visiting with all of them I felt like *** was the most honest. I had driven around looking at different homes and the work they were actually in the process of doing.

They were very prompt on showing up, worked extremely hard, kept me informed of what they were finding and checked back to make sure the dirt was leveling out.

I would hire these guys again any day of the week.
