Review: I was given a qoute of 436.00 and it was written on his card by him. when I went to have the work done he told me he had make a mistake and the amout to have it done was now 400.oo dollars more he did not honor his quote nor did he call me after and tell me he had made a mistake. he just blew me off. I feel he is a liar and he is dishonestDesired Settlement: honor his quote and do the work as he should ( a good job )

I met with Mrs. [redacted] May 12th 2014 at 9/00am at her home in [redacted]. I spoke with her regarding her kitchen counter tops,tile,and her desire to have them refinished. We spoke about other projects she had done and others she wanted to do with other contractors. I measured her kitchen and arrived at the 436.00 price,she wrote that down on the back of my card, gave me her email and said she would call me in June to have it done.. I did not email her or call her back as the job was more than a month out from being scheduled by her. When she called to schedule 6-23-2014, I informed her that I had made a mistake in measuring and the the total cost would be $700.00. $264.00 more then $436.00 NOT $400.00 as she claims.. The phone conversation quickly started going south, I attempted to assure her that I was not doing or trying to do a bait and switch, or in any other shape manner or form attempting to be anything but honest and transparent.. She said that price was to high and that her husband would do it himself, I offerd to assit in some prepping hints, she abruptly but politly ended the call. I then recieve a call from her 6-27-2014 stating she would pay $625.00,and that I should honor that.. I have been in business in Sacramento with the same business name since 1999, I have serviced thousands of retail and commercial clients, I have never had a complaint filed with the Revdex.com or the contractors state license board, further more, I have zero resolved complaints.. There was never a estimate written on my company letterhead, nor a HIC contract written nor a service and repair fixed price contract written.. No money changed hands or was requested and or recieved by me for a down payment to refinish her kitchen counter tops.. Mrs. [redacted] declined to do business with me, now, after shopping around has found that my 700.00 re-bid is still the best deal in town, and now is trying to bully her way through the Revdex.com and any other social media platforms to force me to do this job.. My qustion is, if I am liar and dishonest, why would she want me to work in her home.? The truth never lies, I feel it best to not do business with Mrs. [redacted], if she is at this point, how much liability would I be stepping into if I were to work for her.. We highly recommend ADX Refinishing for your bathroom remodel!! [redacted], the Owner and Operator, went above and beyond with his professionalism and explanation of the whole process from the time we first inquired, bidding the job, and actually performing the work.
We had three 30-year-old fixtures - one tub/shower combo in a Guest Bath, one shower and one larger tub in the Master Bath. Over the years the surface was yellowed and stained and was nearly impossible to clean. Also the shower doors had seen better days. [redacted] was able to remove the shower doors and COMPLETELY REFINISH the entire surface. Now they're a beautiful white, bright surface, not a hint of where the doors had been attached and SO EASY TO CLEAN even with the minerals in well-water. To replace these fixtures with new ones would have cost in the $1,000's each, so [redacted]'s fees are a huge savings and worth every penny.
[redacted] is an absolute professional, highly skilled at his craft and incredibly easy to work with. In addition, he's a genuine human being who was so gracious with our situation with a terminally ill family member in the home.
