will gladly refund the $75.00 As a business, we take pride in upholding integrity and honor. We have never had anything like this happen in our 6 years of being a business. We genuinely care about each and every client that comes through the door. With that being said, even though she sees this as truth in her eyes, we do feel like there are discrepancies in the client's story.
1. The first initial appointment (2/2) was scheduled as a full hilite/ balayage. The client arrived 45 minutes late. A full hilite and style and or cut, always is scheduled as a 3 hour appointment.
2. It was a color correction as well. A color correction is unpredictable. As a professional, we have to discern and fix what the client has already created at home. We can only go off of what we have been told. The time that it takes to do a color correction can take hours, days, or even a few months to get the look that wants to be achieved.
3. The second appointment was scheduled for the next day(2/3), in hopes that we could get closer to the achieved look. The owner took it upon herself to come in on a day off in order to try to make the client happy. This was after the client cried and cussed after her 2/2 appt, which also made the 1st stylist cry and become upset. The owner just wanted to try to fix the situation.
4. After the 2nd appt (2/3) with the owner, the client gave the impression that she was okay with the direction it was going. We knew it was not the picture, however was told that it was not attainable in these 2 appts, and will be a process. The client pulled the owner aside and asked if she could reschedule. At this time she is scheduled for a color on March 17. We discussed that we either would keep trying to blonde it up, or just go back dark.
5. The salon charged only [redacted] This is a discount. Most times color corrections are charged [redacted] to [redacted] We never would have charged her if we knew that she was this unhappy. We hugged before she walked out. She never contacted us after the appointment to try to get her money back, or to let us know that she was this unpleased with the service. We assumed all was good!
We are truly sorry that this even is an issue. We feel that as a salon, we treated the client as we would want treated, with respect and dignity. We are sad that she is this unhappy. The March 17th appt. is cancelled in light of the issues. It seems best to sever any on-going relationship.
