Review: A&E Moving, picked up belongings at my home at [redacted] in [redacted] Me on 8-29, stored them overnight in their truck and garage and delivered them to my new residence on 8-30. A check of the home after they loaded their trucks showed everything was taken, this can be confirmed by my real-estate agent. Three boxes were not delivered to the [redacted] home it was latter found out. One contained silverware worth $4-5000. In reporting this to the owner [redacted] I only received a voice mail saying not his fault after I called a couple of times. An attempt to contact him by certified mail failed. A have gone to the sheriff's dept and he has evaded their initial contacts but has agreed to be served after the first of the year. I understand he is out of state at this time.Desired Settlement: Replacement or cash for goods lost.

Review: Damaged goods without reimbursement and $2500 worth of merchandise missing. Quoted $650.00 but charged additional $520.00 for $1170.00 total. Worker named [redacted] responded to personal phone call and admitted he had possession of shovels and antique willow baskets. He returned baskets but didn't return shovels. He called 3 times to say he would bring them, but didn't show up. When I called they said it was too late becuz it was past 72 hour deadline. They had not made me aware of any deadlines when I hired them. There have been no response from company to phone messages or letters from Attorney General's office.Desired Settlement: full jewelry box of silver jewelry $1500.00. 2 shovels = $25.00. 80 ct lg plastic garbage bags = $25.00. kitchen aid coffee maker in box = $135.00. 2 stainless steel trashs cans = 1 @ $129.00 and 1 @ $59.00. [redacted] wooden commemorative box = $150.00 (had personal papers inside). Antique milk cans = $150.00. Scratched stained glass lampshade = $350.00. night stand & custom CD holder broken.

Review: A+E damaged a piece of furniture during a move of household items from [redacted] to [redacted] in April 2012. A cabinet door on a cherry entertainment center was shattered when the piece was dropped. The movers did not disclose the damage and it was not discovered for more than a month. When I attempted to report this problem to the moving company, phone calls and messages were not returned for several weeks. Since early June, I have had 2 conversations with the moving company and been promised an assessment of the damage. It is now August and the promised start of resolution has not happened.Desired Settlement: repair or replace the damaged door
