In October of 2013 we took our Prius to Precision Toyota in response to a safety recall. In December we went to replace a lost key. Each time we were handed a long list of "urgently needed" services and repairs that ran into thousands of dollars. On both occasions we followed up with a visit to an honest independent shop (Dan's Toy Shop). On both occasions no services were needed.

If you have a similar experience with Precision Toyota do yourself a favor and get a second opinion from an independent shop.

This complaint sounds similiar to my experience with this company. I looked up on the Dept of Professional regulation in Virginia and saw 2 companies licensed under similiar names: Aegis Service Corporation licensed from 5-22-95 and 5-31-2011; Aegis Air Services, Inc. licensed from 11-24-2015 to 11-30-19. We had an HVAC gas powered system installed by Aegis Services Corp in Sept 2010. We had a problem with the wrong tape used to connect the joints and as a result the tape loosened and caused a mold problem in the HVAC closet. Also our county requires inspection for all gas appliance installations and that was never done. When we tried to contact Aegis, I got the complete run around; yet the Revdex.com lists both owners as the same person: Kostas Ioannou.

Review: Had a new gas furnace, a/c, coil, and thermostat installed 11-11-09 for $7695.00, with a 10 year full warrenty parts and labor. Now, it is not heating part of the house. Family foom at 61 degrees, kitchen 64....called over 8 times for the last 2 weeks--always have to leave a message (###-###-####) or tried (###-###-####) --you try it---finally they call back, We explain we need someone to come out and fix it--they say there is a cost--we say it's covered--the contact lady then said she will call back--NOT. We keep trying--again we get through using a different phone as they don't respond to our home number any more---same lady this time she said she needs to talk to the boss once we mention we have a 10 yr warrenty---no response. It's cold in here.Desired Settlement: Come ASAP and fix it.
