After multiple attempts, 15 days later I still get automated emails from Aer Lingus Vacation Store that they will review my case number again. Apparently, they can cancel your vacation for any reason they choose, and in this case mechanical failure. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with this company as they do not care once you pay them. Their "emergency line" was even closed when we needed to speak with them.
Dear Aer Lingus Vacation Store/Global Consolidated Services USA Inc.,
Please accept this notification as a final request hoping to find a swift resolution for reimbursement of a prorated daily amount of $196.50 to each credit card on file due to services not provided which were paid for. This request is due to loss of services of no fault of ours or an Act of God, but ultimately causing us to miss 1 full day ($196.50 per person) of a 6 day vacation causing us to miss the town of [redacted] and the accommodations scheduled at the Strand Hotel.
It is common practice that “Acts of God” i.e. weather, there would be no party at fault for delays or missed itineraries, but “mechanical failure” will always be the responsibility of the company providing services whom accepted payment for its services.
Please note I am not requesting any reimbursement for our inconveniences (although they were great) or any extra expenses we incurred, but only for services not provided but paid for to your company Aer Lingus Vacation Store/Global Consolidated Services USA Inc at:

Your claim of indemnity due to mechanical failure has me concerned if you are in fact affiliated with Aer Lingus; or you are merely using the benefit of their name to promote your unaffiliated company named AER LINGUS VACATION STORE. If this is the case, this may certainly be interpreted as a deceptive business practice.
Again, I am hoping to find a mutual resolution between all parties involved and am requesting a reimbursement for services not received for the daily prorated amount of $196.50 per person. This would be credited to each credit card on file totaling $390.00.
Please have no reservations in contacting me with any questions and will expect your response before moving forward with next steps within 48 hours.
