HORRIBLE CHOICE FOR COSMETIC OR RESTORATIVE DENTISTRY!! I chose this practice to have some restorative dentistry doneFirst with the extractionsThey charged my insurance for surgical extractions with flap elevation but Dr*** simply pulled the teethTwo days later I had to return to have shards of tooth removed that had been left in the gumThen I had fillings on a canine and eye toothBecause the teeth are visible when I smile I stressed the importance of making sure the result was aesthetic or I would consider a different treatmentI was assured they could handle the workDr*** was gentle and polite but the end result was horrifyingIt looked as if a lump of bondo had been stuck between my teeth and filed flatneither of the teeth had any individual shape and you couldn't differentiate between themI complained immediatelyDr*** informed me that what I requested wasn't possible and my expectations were to highThe practice manager talked me in to staying with the practice but seeing a different dentistUnfortunately I agreedI then saw Dr.*** who had no trouble reshaping the fillings to more resemble teethIt took him minutes to do what Dr*** said was impossibleDr*** had prepped my central and lateral incisor for porcelain crownsFirst major problem, the temporary they put on my FRONT teeth was a big blob of plastic that they put no effort whatsoever into shapingit covered both teethI walked out of there horrified but by now it was too late The first crowns arrived terribly crooked and about four shades offI went back into a temporaryA dental assistant made the temporary and it was actually passableI was pleased with it but after about a week my teeth hurt so bad my mouth would water and it hurt to touch my faceI thought I needed a root canalI declined going to their recommended endodontist and instead went to an independent oneNo root canal was neededThe problem was that the temporary had been cemented on so tightly it was putting pressure on the nerves of the teethDr.*** had to CUT the temporary offAfter it was removed the nearly unbearable pain was relievedThe second set of crowns arrived and were still slightly crooked and had splotchy coloringDr.*** decided to use a different labThe third crowns were perfectly shaped but greythey then sent me in to the lab in personAccording to the lab The problem with the coloring is that one of the teeth had a root canal yrs ago and the stump had subsequently turned greyThey hadn't removed enough of that tooth during prep to allow the lab to make the porcelain thick enough to cover thatthe lab lady called the dentist and recommended they re prep that tooth properly and off I went back to the dentistThe final crowns came in and the color and natural staining is spot on but the crowns don't sit on the same plane as my other teeth therefore they're slightly forwardNot only that but they're also crookedright then I told Dr.*** and *** that I was unhappy and would be going somewhere else to have the teeth done properlyAt this point it had been three months since the teeth were first prepped and one prep went nearly to the dentinThe more work that gets done and the longer they're uncovered the higher the chance of needing a root canalThey cemented them in place and I leftI immediately called the practice manager and told her I wanted a refund so I could get my teeth done rightShe had me go to another location so the owner, Dr*** could look at themHe adamantly refused to see the problem, saying that my expectations are too high and no one could do any betterWhen I reminded him that the previous set was a perfect match to my other teeth shape wise he said an aberration and wouldnt hold up to timeBasically saying the only thing that would work on my teeth would be crooked crowns*** He then acted like I was trying to rip him offLet me not forget all the *** he talked about the shape of my jaw and face and this and thatHe was arrogant, rude and unsympathetic. Finally he agreed to refund my money directly to a dentist so I can get them fixedNow weeks later my new dentist finally hears from them and says that they will only refund my money once I take in a receipt after again paying $to the new dentist Ive had two different opinions since and all three other dentists say the crowns while structurally sound, are crooked Aeris may be a decent place for general dentistry but I would caution anyone needing work to look aesthetic, like anterior crowns, to find somewhere elseI'm out $for two crooked crowns that don't sit even with my front teethStaying with them was the worst choice Ive ever madeno wonder they aren't affiliated with the Revdex.com or the american dental association
