In the fall of I bid on, and purchased a *** compactor on line from the Areo-Barrie Auction, and paid a solid priceI did not preview the product, I assumed that the unit would be in working conditionWhen I picked it up I found out that it was not in running conditionWhile attemting to start it it was evident that there was major internal issuesOn Dec I contacted Areo and spoke to "Mitch" about my concernHe simply told me that they do not check to see if the equipment actually runs before selling In his words " we simply do not have time to check each piece"He then offered to take it through a future auction and not charge me a fee for selling it! ...*** *** *** I was astonished to say the least! I cannot possibly be a part of this action! Why couldn't they take the unit back and make the original owner take responsability? They had no answer for thisNeedless to say I now have a $ 1,purchase in our scrap pile! Our company has been in buisness for years (this year), we have successfuly purchased equipment from several aution companies over the yearsThis was our first purchase experiance with Areo I would not recommend Areo to anyone! I willingly share my negative experiance to others in my industry so that they do not get caught like we did"So much" for hounest buisness transactions!
