The tech was courteous and helpfulHowever their customer service was very poorIn my situation, I called as a new customer and requested a technician to come look at my garage door which was squeaking loudlyI was not told there would be a service call fee for someone to come to my houseI've had other contractors come by for free estimatesI take responsibility for my mistake of not asking if there would be a service call fee and whether it would be included in any repair cost or in addition to any repair costI would have appreciated being told that information when I initially calledWhen the tech arrived and gave me a quote, I thanked him and said I would check with my husband and get back to him about whether we would move forwardThen he told me about the $service call fee for him to come to the house whether any repairs were done or notWith the tech waiting, I called their office to inquire about the service call fee and the person I spoke with was abrupt and rudeI asked my question and he immediately was aggressive and stated repeatedly that I definitely asked for a "service call" and there is a service call feeI asked for clarification because I had asked for a "quote/estimate" and he became even more aggressiveHe literally said "Of course there is a service call fee, we're not a charity." (!!!)
He was basically berating me and was very unprofessional and rudeI was polite and tried to explain that I would have appreciated being told about the fee ahead of time, but he kept cutting me off and it was awfulI called back shortly after to speak with someone else and tell them how I was treatedThat person apologized and I left it at thatI had the tech do the work so I wouldn't lose the $I would have paid for the service call fee while getting no repair doneI paid my full bill minus a small discount**I have no problem with the service call fee and their price was fine** However the way I was spoken to was completely unacceptableIf you can do business with this company without dealing with that one person, you'll probably be fineI personally won't use them againI hope their company can improve their customer service in a way that prevents other customers from being treated the way I wasNote: The repair was performed 3/16/
