first spoke with mr.*** the day prior and walked him through the steps to try and help him,after multiple phone calls it was determined that a service call was needed.I scheduled the service call for the next day and he said that would be
fine.one hor later he called back to cancel stating that he found another company that was coming out.Mr.*** was notified by the company that he bought the home from that the warrany was one year,called me and I confirmed this,as to air conditioner or any appliaces that are charged under pressure there is always the risk of a leak,however that leak does not take time to develop it, sarts immediately,this air would not work for two years then just disappear.any person who has had to have their units repaired will attest to thisto sum this situation upwe tried to help this customer and in turn he finds someone else to help him and wants us to pay for it.his eqiptment was out of warranty and he was informed of thisthe better course would have been to contact the manufacturer and express his case to them rather than the way it was handled,at no time was I hostile or rude, it was clear what his intentions were and without having the opportunity to asess the situation I would not be paying for his repair

I was not initially trying to get any money from aero, I simply wanted my AC to work properly as the unit was brand new when it was installed years agoI actually had another ( a third) HVAC company come look and again they said the system is definitely leaking but they were also unable to find the leakPer the above statement received from Areo "however that leak does not take time to develop it, sarts immediately" If that is the case it must have been leaking since the day it was install which would indicate the it was either defective on day one or improperly installedI would lean more towards a defective unit but that would be something the installation tech should have found and helped correctBased on Areos statement the leaks dont just develop and I have had separate HVAC companies tell me there is a small leak I am very confident that it has been leaking since day oneNow the system is out of warranty but if the installer did his job and found that it was losing pressure on day one we could have gotten this replaced instead the coolant slowly leaked out of the course of years and now I am stuck with an AC system that will need to be filled every couple years or sooner, which is expensiveIf Areo was confident that the system was install properly and leaks do not develop over time that maybe they can tell me where all my coolant went? I have now spent $plus hours of my time on this issueThe last hvac company that came out said the leak maybe very hard to find but it is definitely there and I can either keep paying to have the coolant refilled, pay lots of money to attempt to locate the leak, or get a new AC unitAll of which cost me money and are cause by Areo not doing there job properlyIf Areo can figure out a way to get the manufacturer to warranty the unit since we are pretty sure its a defective unit I would be willing to accept that and would not even ask that they install the unitI can not even find a phone number for the manufacture as it seam like the only deal with resellers/dealers
