Dear Revdex.com, in response to the above complaint by *** *** Aero Realty submits the following:OVERCHARGE: This was not brought to my attention until after Ms*** was given notice her lease would not be continuedWhen she brought it up, I suggested she show me where and how she was
overcharged, as of this date she has not submitted any documentation to support this claimMy onsite manager denies the allegations she made about any conversation that may have taken place about an overcharge on her accounting.CLAIMS REGARDING THE LEASE TERM: Ms*** claims we made statements contrary to the lease she signedWe never would have done this nor did she request to write anything to that effect at the time of signing in the "other" portion of the rental agreement for write in commentsMs*** was emailed the lease one day before signing to review it prior to signing NOTICE TO TERMINATE: Washington state Landlord Tenant Act allows either party the right not to extend a lease past it's initial term Ms*** claims the Owner does not have a right to terminate her lease at it's termination dateThis claim is contrary to RCW 59.18.200(1)(a)CLAIMS OF BEING UNPROFESSIONAL BY: not being available, not talking face-to-face, being ignorant, refusing a service animal, lying, and other illegal acts ANSWER: I live by appointments, other people make them everyday with me and I conduct my business with them face-to-face in a professional mannerI make myself available nights and weekends to conduct my rental business Texting is a wonderful communication tool that gives both parties a record of the conversation, and has proven very helpful in this case with Ms***We have standard service animal documents produced by a statewide service animal advocacy group which Ms*** refused to fill out claiming it was illegalMs*** was shown the apartment at two appointments and did not disclose she had a service animal, Ms *** on her rental application, when asked about animals, indicated she did not have any, she signed she had no pets on the lease agreement, only after she signed the lease did she disclose she had the right to have a service animal, at which time we told her the protocol and gave her the standard paper work for proper consideration Ms*** refused to follow the procedures or sign the service animal pet addendum claiming it discriminated against her Despite her claims we did not allow her the right to have a service animal the text messages show we approved her service animal which after all her refusals to follow proper procedures she decided she did not need at this apartment. Were sorry Ms*** is unhappy as we have made every effort to be prompt, professional and understanding of her housing needsWe only wish Ms*** the best in her new home.Mike A***Aero Realty Services
