Review: I purchased a flight with Aeroflot from New York to Moscow.

Aeroflot had system issues and didn't record that I checked in online, even though they emailed me a boarding pass that I printed. When I showed up at the airport they gave my seat away,and moved me to another flight and charged me $325 change flight fee even though I had a printed boarding pass.Desired Settlement: I am requesting to be reimbursed my $325 change flight fee back since it's not my fault their system didn't work and they didn't record the fact that I checked in online.

Review: On March **, 2013 I purchased a two-way flight ticket for my son's friend, [redacted] to travel with us abroad for vacation, booking #[redacted]. The travel day was July **, 2013; however, due to unfortunate family related events [redacted] could not travel with us and I notified the airline a month in advance for the cancellation of the ticket. The ticket was purchased through CheapOair and both companies were contacted in month in advance for the cancellation and requested a refund due to an unfortuante family event. The cost of the ticket was $1,152.58, which I paid through my credit card. I contacted both companies in numerous occassions without any success. I understand, that I cannot get the full amount being refunded, but not the whole amount.Desired Settlement: I expect to be refunded at least 75% of the amount paid.

Review: We recently flew with Aeroflot from JFK to TLV and back. We had a number of issues and all legs of our flights.

Firstly we were flying with three kids and made sure that we booked a flight with entertainment. On the first leg of our trip, the entertainment didnt work at all. on the return flight it didnt work for two of my kids.

We ordered kosher meals for our family. We were given expired meals on our return trip which is both unhealthy and unsatisfactory.

The airline lost a piece of luggage on the way back and have yet to contact us 48 hours after our arrival. I have called them a number of times and was told that they will do nothing for me for 20 days despite the fact that they have not located the piece yet and have no idea where they lost it.Desired Settlement: Based on all the above issues we think we should get a voucher for a substantial amount on each of the tickets.

I sent all requested documentation. Nobody contact me. I would like to have a refund for my broken luggage.

Review: I traveled from Kennedy Airport to Israel (on a tour) on Aeroflot. Upon arriving in Israel I saw that my bag had a hole in it and the piping around the bottom was shredded. I was on a free tour and I had to stay with the group or risk paying for my entire trip. I called my mom in the US and she contacted the airline. They told her to file a damage report with the form on their website.

She filed the report and sent pictures of the hole and shredding, along with the receipt for what we paid for the bag. We bought the bag two days before I left for Israel. As soon as I was able to I sent her a picture of the luggage tag.

Aeroflot is telling me to send the "original" report. The "original" report was sent via their damage claim form on their website per the instructions given by one of their customer service representatives. They are telling me it needs to be filled out at the airport.

I live 150 miles from Kennedy airport. I did not receive any email back from them until after I returned home, otherwise if I had the information about having to fill out the form I would have. Even so, they only give you seven days to file a claim. If I am in the middle of the desert on a tour how am I supposed to do it? I'm not going to risk having to pay over $3000 for my trip because I had to leave the group to file a claim on at $31 piece of luggage.Desired Settlement: I would like payment for my piece of luggage.

Review: I took a flight departing from JFK on May [redacted] at 2:20pm the layover was in Moscow the flight was 101. When I arrived to Frankfurt on Monday May [redacted] at 10:30am they informed me that my luggage did not arrive and was probably in Moscow and will be on the next flight.

They took down my information and followed up for three days stating that the bag had not arrived and needed a description of the bag. The bag was described to several employees several times. When I arrived at the airport on my way back they would not allow me to look at the lost and found in Germany or Russia and they would not look for the bags as well. I was informed that they will send it to my home when they found it. I put in a claim order sent to agency here in New York and I have not heard back from them.

I would appreciate compensation not only for my lost luggage but a missed flight (to Croatia on Tuesday) due to the lost luggage and what I spent in Frankfurt due to my luggage lost ( as per the airline they would compensate what I lost) . Today is July *, 2015 and I have yet to hear from them.Desired Settlement: I would like compensation for all items in my luggage, what I spent in Germany due to my luggage being lost and the flight I missed because of the poor follow up for my luggage.

Review: My name is [redacted]. I am a U.S. citizen. I am writing this letter to file a complaint against Aeroflot Airline about their poor customer service, neglecting customers' well-being and customers' complaint letters during my family return trip to U.S. from China in this July.

Here is what have happened. During this summer, my family took the Aeroflot Airline to China to visit our relatives in early June 2014. The flight from USA to China thru Aeroflot Airline was fine, there was not any issue. The nightmare came during the return flight. The return flight from China to U.S. was scheduled on July **, 2014. The route for our return flight was from Beijing International Airport to New York JFK International Airport, and we were scheduled to just transfer in Khabarovsk and Moscow in Russia. The flight number is: [redacted]. The boarding time is: July **, 2:15am. When we (Me, my 16-year-old daughter and my 11-year-old son) checked-in in Beijing International Airport, nobody in the ticket/check-in counter told me that we needed to have Russia visa to across the border. I even asked the manager on duty if we needed Russia visa to pass the border, and he told me that due to the fact that our stay in Russia was less than 24 hours, we did not need visa. But once we arrived at Khabarovsk, we were denied to transfer to a plane to Moscow airport due to the visa issue. We contacted Aeroflot Airline staff and explained what happened, they said they would consider it. After that we heard nothing. As a result, on the second day, we were deported back to China. We flew back to Harbin first and then took a flight to Beijing. In Beijing, I talked to the Aeroflot Airline staff and I was advised that the best way to handle the situation was that I purchased tickets myself to fly back to U.S. first and then file complaints through the [redacted] So I purchased three tickets, which costs $5357.45, and flew back to U.S. on July **, 2014.

This incidence has caused a great inconvenience and huge damage to me and my family both financially and psychologically.

In Russia, during our stay in Khabarovsk, we were arranged to stay in a small room to wait for the decision on our case. While we were waiting, I was questioned by the security personnel. The questions they asked made me feel very uncomfortable and insecure. After waiting for four hours, we were notified that we had to stay overnight in a hotel in Khabarovsk. During the time we stayed in the hotel, two security guards were arranged to watch us the whole night and we were not allowed to leave the room the entire time. The second day, we boarded a flight and returned to Harbin, China. In Harbin, we spent an excruciating 9- hour at the Harbin Airport to get on the flight to Beijing. In Beijing, we went through a great deal of trouble to find people in the Aeroflot Airline to talk to; in the end, we did not get any assistance to this huge problem to me and my family. It's very obvious that Aeroflot Airline does not care for its customers.

The whole situation was an ordeal to me and my children. I had to carry the four big luggages while taking care of the children. My son broke out into tears several times due to the distress caused by the situation; my daughter was frightened and kept asking me what was happening and worried that we might face life-threatening situation. I myself had to remain strong, yet deep down in my heart I felt very insecure and vulnerable. Recounting what has happened this July, I still felt a great pain in my heart. In the meantime, my family in China also experienced a great anxiety. After hearing this incidence, my 80-year-old father nearly collapsed-he couldn’t eat and sleep, and had to take pills to prevent from getting [redacted]; my nephew had to put aside his work to go to Beijing to help us deal with the case.

This incidence has completely ruined our plan to visit friends and colleges in New York. Because we wasted over three days on the road, we had to cancel our trip to NY and flew to Chicago directly.

I have talked to people and did research and I came to the conclusion that if at the check-in counter, they have stopped us from boarding on the plane and made proper arrangement, the whole disastrous situation could have been avoided.

The worst was that we filed our complaint to Aeroflot Airline by letter and by email in September 2014 after we returned to USA, all we heard from them was an email acknowledging the receiving of our complaint, then nothing follows from Aeroflot Airline. Today we are still waiting for their response.Desired Settlement: I am asking the Aeroflot Airline company to properly settle the case. I am asking the company to pay for all the related costs, including the flight tickets from Beijing to Chicago and from Harbin to Beijing, the food and lodging involved during the time of what has happened, the cost incurred for my China relatives coming to Beijing to help us resolve the issue.

I am also asking your company to pay for the psychological damage this incidence has caused to my family and my relatives in China. We ask $100,000 for this matter.

I hope this matter can be resolved in a professional manner. If the case is not handled appropriately, I will pursue with legal action.

Review: I travelled on September * from Tehran (IKA) through Moscow (SVO) to New York (JFK). In JFK Airport, I could not find my luggage so I filled a report and wrote my address for shipment. I have also contacted them at [redacted] , but they told me I should contact Moscow about that. They gave me a number, but nobody picked up when I called! Of course, the receipts are available upon request. - Above all, 'd like to have my luggage back as soon as possible!
