We were contacted by [redacted] to do work on the home she was living in [redacted].  An estimate was given via email for all the items that she requested to be addressed.  Ms. [redacted] signed the estimate and came into the office and paid the 20% required deposit on the full amount...

of the estimate. Ms. [redacted] was contacted and notified of the scheduled beginning date. Upon arriving at the job……·        Sense of attitude from day one·        Complained on arrival because we were 30 mins early first day·        Complained to crew about the price of estimate·        Asked crew to do more than the assigned scope of work Day one of the [redacted] project Ms. [redacted] had a negative attitude when the painting crew arrived early. Within the first 20 mins of arrival she was complaining about the price on her estimate to the painting crew. The project was scheduled to take 7-10 days to complete.  Never was it mentioned to only take 3-5 days. During the project Ms. [redacted] added additional wall paper removal and additional painting.  The Christmas holidays occurred during the completion stage of the project.  Multiple trips to the home was required due to the nature and scope of work that she requested.  In response to lines 5,7 and 9: No pictures were received for these issues. The only pictures received were areas that needed paint touchup.  This was corrected. One area that Ms. [redacted] was concerned about was where she removed a shower curtain rod and also removed some sheetrock. This was brought to our attention and quickly taken care of.  Upon completion of this, Ms. [redacted] was asked if there was anything else that needed attention.  Her response was as long as the paint dried flat we were good.  Hearing this, she was wished a Happy New Year and the garage door was closed on the workers back. Ms. [redacted] was issued a final invoice.  After several days and reminders of balance due Ms. [redacted] came into the office and stated that the price was too high and she was not happy with the scope of work but did not want any of the workers to come back to her home.   Ms. [redacted] also stated that she was not going to pay the full balance due- She took upon herself to not pay $410.00 of the total amount due.  Several statements were email to her reflecting the balance.  A notice to [redacted] and a notice to Ms. [redacted] was mailed certified mail with return receipt.  Still not response and no payment of the remaining balance.  All the work that was addressed on the estimate was completed along with the extra wallpaper removal and additional painting. Therefore, the $410.00 is still outstanding on Ms. [redacted]’s account.

I am rejecting this response because: No resolution was offered from Jacksonville Custom BuildersThey did not address the fact that there are areas that still need to redone.I am responding to response from Jacksonville Custom Builders - There are still areas that need to be redoneI am attaching picturesThere are others, I have attached what the file would hold. 1.
Day the painters did arrive earlier than [redacted]
had said they would. I was told they
would be there between and 8:I told them they would need to wait a few
minutes because they had arrived earlier than expected.2.
I asked one of the painters to paint a sample on
the wall in the rooms he would be painting because the light was different in
all of the areasHe sighed and said it was the same colorSince he was
hesitant, I attempted to explain to him because the lighting was different; I
would like to see it so I could decide if I wanted a darker color in the room
with less light since the paint had not all be purchased at timeI told him,
considering the cost of the job; I should be able to see the color in the
different rooms because it was a lot of money not to have what I wanted.3.
The crew was not asked to do anything that was
not within the scope of the jobThe
workers would sigh or would make comments that it looked better than it had
before the wall paper removal whenever I asked them to go back over an area
they had missedThe pics clearly showed
they had not painted behind doors or in corners. I was also told that no one was going to see
itI said I was paying for the entire wall, not just for what would be seenAll
of this was very intimidatingAt this point, I still need to pay someone else
to come in to finish what they should have done.4.
As far as the time line, I have an email from
[redacted] stating the job would take 2-days.Had the drywall person had been on time the second day, the job could

It will only take us -days. I can take care of everything you want to do .Just let me know exactly what items you want us to do , from the proposal . I can get [redacted] to come measure for carpet . Let me know when you can meet with him . Sent from my iPhone I removed the "removable" curtain rod because
the painters had painted around it instead of removing it prior to paintingWhen I was
preparing to replace the shower curtains, I noticed clumps of paint around the
shower curtain rod where they had painted around itAs they also painted over
wall hangings on the wall.6.
The [redacted] did not ask if there was
anything else that needed to be done when he came to repair the space where the
shower curtain rod was. He did reprimand
me however, saying that I needed to wait until the wall was dry prior to
putting the shower curtain rod back up so that this would not happen again; insinuating that the reason he had to
come for the repair was because I had put the rod back up before it was
dry. I said nothing to him because he
had made an assumption that was not true.
When I told him he had missed an area, he quickly splashed the paint on
the wallThat area still needs to be doneI don't know if he said anything
else or not. He started walking to the
exit and I closed the garage door behind him as I do when anyone leaves out of
my garageAt this point, I was frustrated about the lack of attention to
detail, the quality of work that was done and the attitude that I should be
satisfied with what had been done
