I am a student at Aesthetics Institute of Cosmetology and the experience has been horrifying I've seen mice and roaches coming through holes in the wallsIn addition, I am already a licensed barber seeking to attain my cosmetology license, and now the owner is making an attempt to stall my graduation, and I have less than a month to goI have spoken with other graduates of the school, and the story is always the same MsL*** gives preference to students of Eastern decent, while neglecting other students I have witness those students servicing up to five clients on a daily basis, while other students get none MsL*** also uses her authority to threaten and intimidate students with the expulsion and prolonged attendance to force them to provide free labor to customers that come to her school for hair servicesWithin the last two weeks, she has also discontinued break times Students are expected to work from a.muntil 12:p.m If they do not, they are clocked out, and sent homeThe school also has a habit of losing students' hours, which cause them to spend more money to finish their coursesThe fraudulent acts of MsL*** have been consistent over many years, and now I hear she is planning to open a new school in Virginia I wouldn't recommend anyone to her schoolEvery month there are a new set of teachers, and they are abused She yells at the teachers and drives them so crazy, that they in turn yell at us, and drive us crazyAs a former teacher, I speak from a professional standpoint, when I affirm that the environment that MsL*** has created is not conducive for a proper education As a licensed barber, I affirm that the corner that the school cuts, would not be satisfactory, if Maryland's State Board were to investigateThe school is unsanitary and it teaches bad sanitation and infection practices, and I am surprised that no one has complainedMany of the clients' hair is broken off and damaged, and they are long time customers of the school I have been personally taught bad practices, but because of my previous training, I do not use the bad informationI do not recommend this school for students, employees, or hair clients

Review: On February 9, 2014 I was asked to leave the establishment and I provided a withdrawal letter to coincide with the owner request. The owner has not provided me with the required transcripts and financial information as stated in the withdrawal letter. the owner has only provided verbal abuse and excuses to why I can not receive my transcript and financial information. This has been going on for over a week and today was just another excuse to why I cannot receive the required information.Desired Settlement: I will like my transcript as agreed and financial information for my federal loan.
