In reference to this complaint we have records of communicating with the customer that he was accumulating tolls in ***. We contacted the toll commission and explained that we were the lien holders and that their fees should be directed to the customer. Customer
called us and we noted his account that he was going to request a "hardship" payment arrangement, however we never received anything from the customer or the toll commission. Subsequently his vehicle was recovered by the toll authorities and since the customer failed to make arrangements with neither Rent Own or the *** toll commission we secured the vehicle. AFC Upholstery was absolutely amazing and I feel like I received the best bang for my buck Initially, when I decided to refurnish my home, I wanted all new furnitureI also wanted to keep some chairs that were passed down from my great-grandparentsAfter going back and forth for months, I began to look up different upholstery companies and view some of their workOne company that stood out to me was AFC Upholstery I read several reviews from different sites for AFC Upholstery and they were all impressive
I called the number listed and spoke with the owner, who was very accommodatingWe scheduled a time to meet to go over the details as to what I wanted and my price rangeThere was a nice selection of fabrics to choose fromThey even gave the option of using your own fabric ***, the owner, came to my home to pick the wing back chairs up, because I did not have a way to transport them From the beginning of the project until the end, I had a great experience with AFC Upholstery I was most impressed with the turnaround time that AFC had the project complete and ready to return
When my family came to visit last weekend, they loved what I did with my great-grandparents wing back chairsI am so glad that I decided to give AFC Upholstery a try I truly received the best bang for my buck!

Delivery took two months instead of one week, and $50 coupon not applied. Our couches were returned without clasps to connect them. We were first quoted $480 to have our couches re-upholstered on 3/30. We paid half up front and were told the work would take one week. Two weeks later the company called and said that the material was not in stock and that it would have to be ordered. They said that it would take another week or two to finish the job. Almost four weeks later, on 4/24 they called back to say that the work was finished. When they delivered the couches, one of the couches was damaged in their truck and had to be taken back to the shop to be fixed. Two more weeks passed and they called to deliver the final couch. Upon delivery we were charged the remaining $240 due and I informed them I had a $50 coupon. They said they would refund the $50. The refund has never been applied. I called the next day to inform them that the connector clasps that connect the two couches had been removed during while they were doing their work and not replaced. My two couches that are supposed to connect now no longer connect. They told me that they would call me back later that day (5/28) to have someone come out with the clasps and replace them. No one has ever called and I was never given my refund for the $50. Its now been more than two months since work that was supposed to be completed in one week has not been completed and we were over charged.Desired SettlementWe want our couch repaired so that it connects like it is supposed to connect, and we want our refund of $50.
