Affiliated Construction Services Reviews (1)
I was billed by a window company for windows for which I had already paid ACS per contract. To avoid a lien on my property, I paid the window company. On Nov 15, 2012 I contracted with Affiliated Construction Services (ACS) for renovations to my house, including replacing several windows and doors. The materials and work for this contract were paid for with three checks to ACS dated 11/15 ($5,178), 12/12 ($6,900), and 12/27/2012 ($5,147), paying off the contract in full. On April 30, 2013 I received a Certified Letter from [redacted] of [redacted] the company that had supplied my windows to ACS. The letter said that because ACS had not paid them for the windows and had not responded in any way to [redacted] repeated attempts to contact them over several months, [redacted] was giving me notice that a lien would be placed on my property until the bill was paid. I called the number I had for ACS and left a strong message but received no response. On May 2, 2013 I paid the [redacted] bill with a check for $2,092.38. I would like for ACS to reimburse me this amount, since I had already fully paid ACS for the windows back in 2012.Desired SettlementI would like for ACS to pay me $2,092.38 to reimburse me for the payment that I had to make to [redacted] after having already paid ACS for the same windows.
