Review: I rented an apartment within '[redacted]' located in [redacted], ** owned by this company for two years. Not getting into any of my dissatisfaction while living there, my issues is that I moved out at the begining of July 2015. As per our lease agreement, I notified them in June, and paid in full July and August (ensuring that they had at least 60 days of notice). At the begining of September I noticed that my bank autopaid another month of rent to [redacted] Management. I contacted them immediately & I was very rudely informed that it was my fault for not cancelling my auto pay through my bank. I said okay fine, it was my fault (it was one of things I forgot to do as we were stressed about moving out of state), just refund me. They proceed to tell me that they will not refund me, they will process the rent as an over payment and it will be returned to me with my security deposit, at the end of September. I told her that it is fine to not get my security deposit back until then but it it is completely ridiculous for them to hold onto that money for the whole month just because they will not process it. After arguing with someone from [redacted] Management on the phone fore quite some time she finally claims that she will try to have the money refunded to me and she will call me back later that day or the following business day. I never received a call back so I called her again and now she claims that even though my bank confirmed that the money was removed they do not show a deposit so I will have to wait until the end of the week. I call again and they still just tell me that she has no information for me. I call back on Monday and I get the same thing. At this point I am convinced thay they are just giving me the run around long enough so that they do not have to process my refund early.Desired Settlement: I think that it is ridiculous for them to hold onto $945 that they have no right to until the end of the month just because they don't want to process it. Even if it is my fault for forgetting to cancel the auto pay (we had a lot of things going on seeing how we were moving out of state) they should either not have accepted my payment or they should at least be willing to correct it.
