From: Date: Mon, Oct 2, at 6:PMSubject: ID # ***To: Mr***I am in receipt of your letter dated 09/27/concerning *** ***Please find attached the correspondence between Ms*** and the stylist that worked on her when she came into my salonAs you can see, she was
informed before her visit that it would take sessions to get the color she desired. There were pictures taken of her before she left my salon, those pictures also are attachedShe was charged $for the service and she tipped the stylist $before she left. You will also find correspondence between her and myself when she contacted me after she had went into another salonI can only go by the pictures I had of before she left my salon because now another salon has processed her hairWhich I did explain to her. While I am the owner of Affinity Hair Studio, all of the girls working in my establishment are Independent Contractors and my salon was not paid for her service, the stylist was.As you can see, I offered to look at her hair she refused to come in and actually had already had someone else process it before she even contacted meHer statement to you is erroneous as she never called my salon or left me a message until AFTER she already had someone else mess with itWhich I did explain to her in the attached messageIn fact, I have never spoken to herShe has only contacted me through messenger, to which I responded immediately. At this time, I am not refunding her payment as I wasn't permitted to see what she calls damaged before she had another salon step in. Furthermore, she has spent the last week on social media slandering myself and my business. You can contact me if you need further information. Most Sincerely,*** ***Affinity Hair Studio

From: Date: Tue, Oct 3, 2017 at 12:19 PMSubject: Re: ID # [redacted]To: Mr. [redacted] As I have mentioned before, I did not realize how damaged my hair really was when I left the salon.. I am a server for a living and I wear my hair up every single day. Also, I did tip her because I, myself live off of tips and I don't believe in "not tipping". I was not informed that it would take two sessions to do my hair, as I was trying to get my hair done before my engagement pictures. I called salon asking for manager on two different days, and was told there would not be a manager until Monday at 10 am. At this point I am freaking out about my hair, stressing about my pictures and I have to get my hair re-done. I got a hold of another salon who was kind enough to take me in that day and fix my hair, which took over 3 hours. The salon took TWO pictures of my hair before they started working on it which were the pictures I attached. My last attempt to get ahold of management was through their Facebook page and that was the only response I received. After trying to explain politely the situation, I was rudely denied a refund because I did not come into the salon. If there was no manager present how would going into the salon have helped my situation? Also, why would I allow a salon who destroyed my hair, offer to fix it? I have had numerous others tell me this happened to them at this same salon and they were only offered to FIX it and never a refund. I never refused to come in. I was willing to come in, but my hair was already fixed per another salon. I did NOT slander her business on social media either. I simply posted pictures of my hair and said I would not recommend anyone to go to the salon because I had a bad experience. I never once mentioned the name of the girl who did my hair. I simply stated I had a bad experience and wouldn't recommend going to that salon. I can provide proof of HER and her employees slandering ME on social media. Calling me names such as a "hater" and that I "want something for nothing", "evil" and so on. Also, I would be happy to get you in contact with the salon who fixed my hair, and allow them to explain to you how damaged my hair was when I came into their salon. I would also like to add how touchy the subject of "hair" is to a female, especially when I am suppose to be enjoying this time in my life of recently getting engaged and all I have worried about is the outcome of my hair and how damaged it is from this salon. I have had to push back my engagement pictures because I have two hair treatments in order to get my hair back to dull health. I believe this salon handled my situation so unprofessionally, and on top of it did nothing but slander me, on social media. I can provide you with all of the proof you need from my messages with the stylist, the salon owner, and their Facebook posts about me. Thank you. [redacted] Sent from my iPhone
