Affordable Allen's Repair Plumbing

Affordable Allen's jacked up the installation charge $60.00 above the maximum over the phone quote. I contacted Affordable Allen's by phone 2 days prior to the scheduled begin date which was 1/16/2014. Mr [redacted] was hired to install a pressure tank.I supplied all parts involved. At that time Mr [redacted] quoted me a maximum installation charge of $225.00. However when he arrived he changed the installation charge to $285.00. When I asked why the charge increase he had no comment or response other than "that is what the charge will be". He went on to state that if he was not allowed to install the pressure tank there would be an osite travel fee of $85.00 which I never agreed to prior to his arrival. In summary I would say that Mr. [redacted]'s practices are unethical and deceptive. Basically he gets the job by making a lowball offer and then "scalping" the customer once on site or leaving the customer with the choice to pay him $85.00 to do nothing. Desired SettlementI would like a refund of $60.00.
