I called Affordable Appliance Repair because the spin cycle on our Kenmore washing machine stopped working I was pleased with the quick response, especially since we called on a Saturday A repairman arrived within three hours and installed a new door lock assembly The charge was $ We used the washing machine twice in the next two days When we tried to use it the third time the door wouldn't close I reported the problem to the same company and specified the repairman's name I was told the repairman would return to fix the problem However, he never returned I called the company office or times during the next two days I left messages I also talked to the office worker twice and she assured me again that the repairman would be there "that afternoon between and 4" and then after another call I was told the repairman would be there "between and 5" The repairman never arrived after any of my calls And he never called me on the phone In frustration, I ended up calling another appliance repair company (Better Homes Appliance Repair) since we could no longer use the washing machine at all The Better Homes repairman arrived within hours and fixed the problem quickly by re-seating the rubber gasket assembly that surrounds the door He said the gasket had not re-seated properly after the door lock was changed We have had no further problems with the washing machine

The folks from Affordable Appliance Repair did a repair on my Kenmore electric dryer on 4/16/ They were prompt, professional, and prepared They were in and out in under a half hour I am completely happy with the job, and the manner it was accomplished Additionally, the price was reasonable

Did a great job repairing my dryer at a reasonable price. They made one trip to diagnose the problem and identify the part that had broken. In took them only about 15 minutes on the second trip to make the repair. Repairmen were extremely polite and professional during both visits. I will definitely use them for any future appliance repair that I might need done.

Simply the worst appliance repair company allowed to continue to operate. Never finished the job and charged my account over $400.00. Refrigerator still not repaired 5 weeks later. They border on fraudulent.

Affordable appliance came out to my home in June and diagnosed/fixed my problem with my ice maker. After 4 days the problem returned. I called to tell them and they said there would be another fee for a return. I then called another company that diagnosed it properly with a defective motor module. When I called Affordable 4X for a refund over a 2 month period with no promised return calls, I finally called again and was told that was absolutely non-refundable-it was the minimum service fee. Why am I paying a service fee if the problem wasn't fixed? I hope others read this and the review costs them much more than my $79. Do not use this scandalous business!

I was very pleased with this repair service. They were professional, polite, knowledgeable, and as their name implies, affordable. Their prices are affordable, but they don't skimp on quality. I will be using them again and have already recommended them to friends.
