that he had purchased a toilet seat that when he opened it for install was damaged. I informed [redacted] to bring his receipt in and that we would have no problem making this return for him. I even informed him that we had that particular seat in stock and an exchange would not be an issue. [redacted] then proceeded to tell me that he was unable to find his receipt but would take a look and call me back and let me know if he was able to find it. [redacted] called back a short time later and told me that he was unable to locate his receipt but he did purchase it with a credit card and was able to give me the date and a roundabout time of purchase. I informed R uben that we do not normally take returns back that way, but to hold on and I would see what I could do for him. I looked up the sale, and was able to locate it. Unfortunately I did not take [redacted]'s phone number down at the beginning of the call, and by the time I got back to the phone call to inform [redacted] that his return or exchange would not be a problem he had already hung up the phone. We most certainly would have taken this item back for exchange, and if [redacted] would like to do that we would be happy to assist him with that. We will contact the customer at the phone number provided and let [redacted] know we are more than happy to help him resolve this."
