Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: IT is totally false,We have never had the refrigerator work It defrost intermittently and makes a mess all over the kitchen He did send a repair man out a week after we called The repair man showed up and said "looks like it is working fine to me" We then called [redacted] and he said for us (at our cost) because we paid $for delivery to bring it back and they would repair it After two weeks and no call back from [redacted] - (he has never returned any call back, even when he says he will) we called and he said it was working fine We picked it up (at our cost) and brought it back It defrosted and does not keep anything cold We called [redacted] and he said to bring it back Monday (at our cost) and he would swap it We did and he did not have a replacement and said he would call us when he did He never did call back and when we called back again he called me a liar and said he never said that All we want is a working unit He said again he would swap out a unit today So we again are going down to pick it up Honestly, when we talk to him we are upset We have never had a working unit!!!! His response is he is doing us a favor to even talk to us He is just horrible I have since looked on reviews for his business and I am not seeing just one but many of the exact same complaints We have never filed any kind of complaint before or had any issues We just want a working refrigerator If he gives us back the same unit we will not accept it He needs to stand by his business and his word and give us a refrigerator that works or even better a refund Regards, [redacted] ***

this complaint is not valid as we have offered to service this unit and the customer is not available during business hours not us!!!We will honor our warranty our service schedule has been the same since we opened and didn't change it to not service your fridgeas we explained, we will service it any day through the weekname calling doesn't resolve anything and as long as you continue we will not come to your place as it is a hostile environment.this complaint is not valid as we have offered to service this unit and the customer is not available during business hours!!!

Just like our thousands of other customers who manage to make it work our service hours have always been Mon- Friam - pm since 1996.Feel free to call us to schedule an appointment when/ if you become available during that time frameWe meet people on lunch breaks, friends have met us to let us in. Its do-ableAfter the name calling public posts and rude phone calls we aren't inclined to go out of our way to accommodate your special needs

THIS COMPLAINT IS COMPLETELY FALSE, WE SENT A REPAIR MAN TO THEIR HOUSE AND THE FRIDGE WAS WORKING, THEY DIDN'T WANT TO HAVE THE ISSUE AGAIN SO THEY BROUGHT IT IN SO WE COULD MONITOR IT, IT RAN FOR OVER TWO WEEKS WITH NO ISSUE, THEY PICKED IT BACK UP WE SHOWED THE DRIVER IT WAS WORKING AND THEY HAD
IT FOR OVER A MONTH AND NOW WANT ANOTHER ONE, I AGREED TO TRADE IT OUT TO KEEP FROM HAVING TO DEAL WITH THE CONSTANT HORRIBLE PHONE CALLS FROM THEM BOTH, I WAS TOLD BY HIM THAT HE WOULD COME DOWN HERE AND ''DEAL'' WITH ME IN PERSONI WILL GIVE THEM THIS FRIDGE AND WILL NOT DO ANY FURTHER BUSINESS WITH THEM

I am rejecting this response because: I didn't remove itYou were the 2nd person to check on the fridgeThe first tech *** removed the plate and said the same thing you did, "its the control board"You did nothing to test or prove that's the problem. The plates been off and has stayed that way since *** removed it. We gave you $in good faith and we recieved a broken fridge. I'm not trashing your business it's been trashed. Have you seen your reviews???? I wish I had before my wife walked into your storeI'm only stating facts and my experience. If you'd take owership for selling us a broken fridge and fix it then we wouldn't have to go this route and maybe your rating of star might improve. At this point I was we want our money back and you can have your broken fridge

on products that I bought from you in good faith and still, I am stuck with a washer and a dryer which does not work. So much for your repair department.
I will not be forced to go to the laundromat any longer just because you sell non-working products which require perpetual repairs

I'm sorry if she felt she was unsympathetic.as per our warranty we will happily service the appliance as soon as the customer lets us know when she is available during business hoursservice is available Mon - Fri am -pm

is not true, I was the tech that came out and the panel was removed when I arrived and you informed me what you had done to it, I told you that you voided the warranty but I would work with your anywayThe way you are acting and unnecessarily trashing my business when I offered to try to help is wrongI don't want any further dealings with you

Just to confirm Affordable Appliance response to repair or replace the non-working washer and dryer,
1.  Will they warranty the repairs (at no cost to me) although we are past the 30 day guarantee?
2.  Will they pick up said washer and dryer for repairs and deliver them back to me?
If yes, then I agree.

all items are tested prior to delivery. we have a 13 month warranty and will happily service it as per the warranty we have a no refunds policy.

I am rejecting this response because: We were not requesting warranty coverage on the item, I was reporting that they lied regarding the repair that they made when the unit WAS still under warranty. I am well aware that we are already outside the warranty period which is why we were going to repair the unit ourselves. Upon removing the back panel of the unit to do so, we found that the repair that had been done by the companies tech was done incorrectly. In October of 2014 during the warranty repair, the technician informed me he needed to replace the fuse and charged me $25 for the part while under warranty. This part was not replaced; he took the money and bypassed the fuse by taping the connecting wires together. I was never informed that there would be any sort of work around for the fuse, or I would not have paid for the part cost. Upon further inspection, we also found that there were melted wires caused by the heating element not tripping the fuse when it got too hot. I have attached documentation showing the issues that were found.

NOT BYPASS A FUSE UNLESS AT THE CUSTOMERS REQUEST. WE HAVE A NO REFUNDS POLICY. AS BY ADMISSION THE CUSTOMER WORKED ON THE APPLIANCE WE DONT KNOW WHAT THEY DID TO IT AND WILL NOT WARRANTY IT AFTER A NON CERTIFIED TECH HAS ATTEMPTED TO SERVICE IT THE CUSTOMER VOIDED THE WARRANTY AND AS PER THE SIGNED DELIVERY RECEIPT IN STORE POSTINGS AND STORE RECEIPT WE HAVE A NO REFUNDS POLICY WE CONSIDER THIS MATTER TO BE CLOSED
