I contacted the customer a month ago and refunded the money

He came to me and wanted the 2 four wheelers. He test rove them and everything was fine and he left with them. Within a week he called and told me one of them would not start and he wanted them to be looked at. I asked him where the kids have been riding and he told me the kids have been riding them...

on pavement. They rode the brand new vehicles full throttle on pavement. First, you are not supposed to take it full throttle within the first tank of gas. You are supposed to give the motor time to break in. Also, it is an off road vehicle, so it shouldn’t be ridden strictly on pavement.  He brought them in and I started the first one with no problem. He told me the reason he told me It wouldn’t start is because if he didn’t I wouldn’t have taken a look at them. I drove both of them in the yard. The tire tread was completely worn down after a week, meaning he had ridden them very hard on pavement.  I told him at time of purchase that they were Chinese ATVs and that they would need to be checked regularly and check nuts and bolts because the vibration may cause them to come loose and he understood that. He starting asking for refund. I told him we have a no refund policy. I told him I could order the parts for the four wheelers and we could do the work, but there would be a shop/labor fee. He was unhappy with this and threatened to sue me. I told him he signed a bill of sale that stated there is a 30 day part 60 day engine with the manufacturer, not including labor. I told him I would do what I could, but the shapes of the four wheelers were his fault and we are going to have to charge him for fixing the issue. He told me he didn’t want them worked on then. I told him I would get him the parts for him. I even replaced the batteries and headlights for free.  He refused to come pick them up and I told him I would have to start charging him a storage fee if he did not come pick them up. Eventually he did and he and his wife were unbelievably rude. I have the exhaust bolts and the chain right now, and am waiting on the rest of the parts, they come from Texas. I will send them by mail when I receive everything needed. I have done everything I possibly could to help him out.
