So impressed by how I was treatedI only had to spend and bought a Toyota Camry This car is still running great after one year!! I didn't expect much but am so surprised at how David at Affordable Auto Sales treated us and found out later that he is one of the most honest, used car dealers in the areaIf a car is not right for you he won't sell it to you I was looking at a Chevy Cavalier and he told me right out that it needed some repairs and that someone with mechanical skills will buy it and fix it themselves, but if I wasn't able to do that then don't buy itI am happy to give this dealer a good review

Purchased a PT Cruiser three months ago from Affordable Auto Sales located in Kenosha, Wi Received a great deal as they were about $dollars lower than all others I had been looking at I had been looking for over two months David the Owner is not a typical sales man or owner, he isn't pushy and doesn't try to sell you the car He told me his belief is you can't talk someone into buying a vehicle, he said my cars sell themselves Totally accurate, after the test drive I knew I wanted the vehicle He was flexible and we were able to make the deal I am thrilled with my car, runs great I did have an issue with my check engine light coming on which had led to to a failed emission test Brought the vehicle to Affordable, they replaced a sensor and took the vehicle in him self to pass the emission test He replaced the sensor for no charge He stands behind his vehicles Has earned my trust and would recommend him to anyone looking for a dependable affordable vehicle He registers the vehicle the day of the sale so you leave with plates and the vehicle registered on the spot No Hassles, No Tricks, No Drama David the owner is very laid back and easy to talk and work with Defiantly has a repeat customer with me any my family and friends

Here is our response to the Complaint from [redacted] , IZUZU TROOPER ID [redacted] Vehicle was purchased 11-2- When they first purchased the vehicle, they sent a text saying how much they loved the car On 12-2-a month later, a text was received from them saying the roof was leakingThat first sounded so oddBut, whatever, if it was it was They brought it in A hose was set over the roof for minutes to determine where there was an apparent leak Nothing was wet or leakingThey took it home Text again, it was leaking Brought it in again It was quite puzzling This time a power washer was used to spray the roof over a period of timeNo leaks seen They were called and we said again, couldn't find a leak AND WE NEVER SAW ANY WATER OR MOISTURE IN THE CAR On 12-they text and said the heater was not working Now, The first call was days after purchase The call about the Heater was almost two months after purchase NOT THE NEXT DAY OR A COUPLE OF DAYS LATER The car was sold "as is" It is a great vehicleAn IZUZU TROOPER is a nice vehicleThey left the car and we, "at no cost" again, check out the heater issue We determined that they would have to pay to have the heater problem fixed and of course, they weren't happy We have texts from them All ranging from, we can't make it today A number of appointments were cancelled during this time alsoThen, they wanted a loaner We do not provide loaners Then they wanted us to drive another car to their house so they could look at maybe changing carsWe took out the liner of the roof to continue to look for this leak and left the car outside in the rain to AGAIN try to determine if an where this leak wasWe also told them they would have to pay for the heater issue since it was almost two months after purchaseThe last conversation was with Michael Raymond, partner, husband at5:00p.m.was on a SateveningThe next day, on aSunday, [redacted] comes to the lot with an OFFICER Why on earth she called a Police Officer, we have no idea At any rate, the Police Office asked us if she could take her car/ We said, of course, she could take her car anytime We were not holding it for any reason She took her car and then started making bad reviews all over the place with slanderous remarks and unfounded statements about our reputation etcThe liner of the roof is still in our garage because she took the car The car was sold "as is" We went out of our way to have the car in three times free of charge eventwo months later They have to know that used vehicles will have to be maintained, parts replaced, etcfrom time to time This is not a brand new 40,vehicle with a mile warranty 99% of our customers certainly know that But, we STILL will offer them services free of charge or at half the rate We also have a counter-complaint- [redacted] took it upon herself to defame us and slander us on facebook and other sites, calling us cheaters, liars, a thief and scammers Even though you, at the Revdex.com, have asked them for the name of the officer who made those "supposed" comments, they have not provided that to you and have not responded to that request So, We have copied all of the statements posted, which they now have taken down, and we are pursuing a defamation suit against themPlease let us know if you need anymore information Their request for a refund is unfounded and ridiculousThank you, Affordable Auto Sales of Kenosha

I don't know the officers name as I didn't get a copy of reportHowever, I willAlso, ***, the owner, did also speak to the officer that dayHe also lives about blocks from the department and could gain this informationI did
not as t to answer that as it has nothing to do with the complaint and since I've filed has told me he filed a million dollar slander suit again my fiancee and I

My wife and I purchased a vehicle on Sept. 2nd 2015 which we were leaving at the dealer to fix a rust spot and for time for the check to cash to the dealer. Since then we have been stood up by the dealer 3 times after arriving for our set appointment time to take delivery of the car, 1 time told, by what appeared to be a very intoxicated salesperson/owner, we could not take the car being the paint "needed time to cure" and so he could "verify" that our check that he already had cashed and had the money was "indeed actually our check". Today we spoke to the owner/salesperson at 9:30 am and he agreed to meet us at the lot at a little after 10am for the delivery of the car. We got to the lot after again making our 40 minute drive to get there to again find an empty and locked building. We came back 30 minutes later and found him there with him telling us he had again decided to bring it in for more touch up paint and that he had called and left a message, which he hadnt, and that he had texted us, which he did but he texted us at the time we were to meet him to begin with. I told him I wanted to know where the car was at so I could see the car. He refused to tell me where the car is at so I called the Kenosha Police department. Two officers arrived and I explained what we have been going through with this car deal and that he has my money and has never let us get the car. The police informed me that they have had multiple run-ins with the salesperson/owner and that I will most likely have to go to small claims court to get it resolved. The police next went to speak to the salesperson/owner who again refused to tell them where the car is at or what supposed body shop is working on it. He was very belligerent to the police and even asked the one officer if the officer wanted to shoot him! I paid for this car and have never taken possession of it due to the actions/practices of the salesman/owner and now do no under any circumstances want this car or any other associated with Affordable Auto Sales in Kenosha. The Salesman/owner is Dave and how he has treated us, if this is how he treats all customers, should never be allowed to run a business! I feel we have victims of fraud and I don't know how long it will take to get our money back from this "business"!

That first sounded so odd. But, whatever, if it was it was.  They brought it in.  A hose was set over the roof
for 30 minutes to determine where there was an apparent leak.  Nothing was wet or leaking.
They took it home.  Text again, it was leaking.  Brought it in again.  It was quite puzzling.  This time a power washer was used to spray the roof over a period of time. No leaks seen.  They were called and we said again, couldn't find a leak.  AND WE NEVER SAW ANY WATER OR MOISTURE IN THE CAR.  On 12-27 they text and said the heater was not working.  Now, The first call was 30 days after purchase.  The call about the Heater was almost two months after purchase.  NOT THE NEXT DAY OR A COUPLE OF DAYS LATER.  The car was sold "as is" .  It is a great vehicle. So impressed by how I was treated. I only had 1500.00 to spend and bought a 98 Toyota Camry. This car is still running great after one year!! I didn't expect much but am so surprised at how David at Affordable Auto Sales treated us and found out later that he is one of the most honest, used car dealers in the area. If a car is not right for you he won't sell it to you. I was looking at a 99 Chevy Cavalier and he told me right out that it needed some repairs and that someone with mechanical skills will buy it and fix it themselves, but if I wasn't able to do that then don't buy it. I am happy to give this dealer a good review.
