We are well aware of what Craigslist shows Your submission shows posted days ago, for the mileage of 234,You haven't even owned the car for days. You bought the car on the 9th Therefore that mileage was posted BEFORE you bought the carIt says updated days ago That means nothing, we have to update the ads every few daysAll of our ads are updated. We offered you the best thing we couldBring the car back and we will give you your money back You declined The Salesman alerted me that I had made a mistakein my responseMILES ARE EXEMPT ON ALL VEHICLES OVER YEARS OLDNOT OVER 100, Your car is years old it's right on the contract you signed. So, number one, The miles of 234,were posted BEFORE YOU BOUGHT THE CAR Number Two, YOU WERE OFFERED A FULL REFUND YOU DECLINEDNumber threeWE DIDN'T HAVE TO OFFER YOU ANYTHING BECAUSE IT IS A STATE LAW THAT SAYS ALL CARS OVER YEARS OLD ARE EXEMPT FROM MILEAGE DISCLOSURE.Number You took a year old car to a new dealership AFTER purchased You signed an "as is contract" You bought a perfectly good one owner Toyota runnerAt an incredibly fair price We will be happy to bring all of these documents to court

Response to Complaint from [redacted].Mr.[redacted] purchased a 1998 Toyota 4Runner on Saturday December 9th,  2017.. He paid 2800.00.  I am attaching the ad that shows the miles of 235,988.  So, not sure what he is referring to there. The Odometer does say 134,000. After 100,000...

miles, miles are exempt from disclosure.  Even though the odometer said 134,000, we knew it was 234,000 and advertised it as such.  There was no language about the mileage being 134,000.  We did nothing fraudulent.  There are no miles on the contract, no mileage on the window sticker as in the state off Wisconsin miles are exempt over 100,000.  Even though we CHOSETO DISCLOSE THEM IN THE AD.  He test dove the car for about 5 minutes and returned to the lot.  The salesman even asked him why he didn't take it out longer and really look at it.  He said it was good and he reallyliked it.  The next day we got a call from him stating that we misrepresented the mileage.  We purchased the car from auction, so I don't know who he is referring to as far as the people we got it from that didservice work to it. The auction slip shows the mileage of 234000 just as we advertised.  but again, miles are exempt on cars over 100,000.  He will be sued by us if he continues to say we committed a "fraudulent act"When he returns to Indiana, he takes the car to a New Car Dealership.  The new car dealership of course tells him it needs repairs.  That is their business.  And inflated at that.  You always need to find a local garage forservice on older vehicles.  This is a 20 year old car.  of course all the parts are not new.  Of course there are always going to be things that need to be replaced or repaired. And you should ALWAYS take a car forinspections BEFORE you purchase it.  You don't wait until after the purchase and then decide to get it inspected.  This is a scam by people who say they love the car and then after purchase take it to a New CarDealership and get a laundry list of repairs.  Then they threaten to cal the Revdex.com and all their friends and make complaints about you if you don't send them money back.  We offered to buy the car back as it is still being advertised and have numerous calls on it.  Mr. [redacted]  said "no, I like the truck and want to keep it". So, at this point, we have done our due diligence. and didn't even have to do that much.Mr [redacted] refers to us as not a creditable dealership because we are not a New Car Dealership.  So why would he even come here.  We are licensed  and  held to the same standards as new car dealerships.Dealers are constantly scrutinized by the State,  We have to follow strict guidelines,  Its not like the public.  When you buy a car from someone on the street you have no recourse if they have been dishonest or have deceived the buyer.  But Dealers are licensed and held to higher standards as it should be.  We offered to buy the car back immediately, however Mr. [redacted] wants to have his cake and eat it to.   He wants us to pick it up or pay to have it towed,  but really he just wants to keep it and get money back.  We will not be scammed.  We will not accept slanderous language from him.  He bought a great vehicle at a great price.  He would not have driven from Indiana to Wisconsin to buy a vehicle if he didn't think it was a good purchase.  This  is our response, Thank you.  Affordable Auto Sales.rescinding  our offer to buy it back.  We have his is signature on an "as is" contract.  We have the ad with the higher miles,

Revdex.com:Honestly, I'd rather not take this to court and come to a compromise here between you and I but if you want to sue me over my "false accusations" I will gladly take time off and bring litigation upon you through court. I have attached the original ad... And the updated one. By the way did you know Craigslist shows in the ad when it was updated? A little suspicious it was changed after the vehicle was already sold. As for there being a mutual understanding that the vehicle was sold with both parties knowing about the odometer discrepancy, I also have the messages between you and I which show you attempting to correct the situation. Once again if both individuals knew about the 100,000 mile difference then what were you trying to correct? I'm also waiting on Craigslist to send me their versions of the original ad and updated one so it's not just my pictures showing the change in advertisement. Another bit of information I have is the service record from the Toyota dealership that originally sold and did the last oil change to the vehicle with all the mileage accounted for. Once again I would rather not have to take time off to bring you to court over this but will if you do not want to come to an agreement on a fair price.
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

Here is our response to the Complaint  from [redacted], IZUZU TROOPER.  ID [redacted]Vehicle was purchased 11-2-9015.  When they first purchased the vehicle, they sent a text saying how much they loved the car.  On 12-2-2015 a month later, a text was received from them saying the roof was leaking. That first sounded so odd. But, whatever, if it was it was.  They brought it in.  A hose was set over the rooffor 30 minutes to determine where there was an apparent leak.  Nothing was wet or leaking. They took it home.  Text again, it was leaking.  Brought it in again.  It was quite puzzling.  This time a power washer was used to spray the roof over a period of time. No leaks seen.  They were called and we said again, couldn't find a leak.  AND WE NEVER SAW ANY WATER OR MOISTURE IN THE CAR.  On 12-27 they text and said the heater was not working.  Now, The first call was 30 days after purchase.  The call about the Heater was almost two months after purchase.  NOT THE NEXT DAY OR A COUPLE OF DAYS LATER.  The car was sold "as is" .  It is a great vehicle. An IZUZU TROOPER is a nice vehicle. They left the car and we, "at no cost" again, check out the heater issue.  We determined that they  would have to pay to have the heater problem fixed and of course, they weren't happy.  We have 15 texts from them.  All ranging from, we can't make it today.  A number of appointments were cancelled during this time also. Then, they wanted a loaner.  We do not provide loaners.  Then they wanted us to drive another car to their house so they could look at maybe changing cars. We took out the liner of the roof to continue to look for this leak and left the car outside in the rain to AGAIN try to determine if an where this leak was.We also told them they would have to pay for the heater issue since it was almost two months after purchase. The last conversation was with Michael Raymond, partner, husband at5:00p.m.was on a Sat. evening. The next day, on aSunday, [redacted] comes to the lot with an OFFICER.  Why on earth she called a Police Officer, we have no idea.  At any rate, the Police Office asked us if she could take her car/  We said, of course, she could take her car anytime.  We were not holding it for any reason.  She took her car and then started making bad reviews all over the place with slanderous remarks and unfounded statements about our reputation etc.The liner of the roof is still in our garage because she took the car.  The car was sold "as is" .  We went out of our way to have the car in three times free of charge eventwo months later.  They have to know that used vehicles will have to be maintained, parts replaced, etc. from time to time.  This is not a brand new 40,000 vehicle with a 100 mile warranty.  99% of our customers certainly know that.  But, we STILL will offer them services free of charge or at half the rate. We also have a counter-complaint-  [redacted] took it upon herself to defame us and slander us on facebook and other sites, calling us cheaters, liars, a thief  and  scammers.  Even though you, at the Revdex.com, have asked them for the name of the officer who made those "supposed" comments, they have not provided that to you and have not responded to that request.  So,  We have copied all of the statements posted, which they now have taken down, and we are pursuing a defamation suit against them. Please let us know if you need anymore information.  Their request for a refund is unfounded and ridiculous.Thank you,Affordable Auto Sales of Kenosha

Please provide the name of the police officer you spoke with.

Revdex.com:
My submission? The 14 days is the original ad posting date which is when YOU posted it... Not me. So yes, the original ad was posted before I bought it obviously... The pictures I last attached are of the 14 days ago ORIGINAL POSTING with 134,000 miles and then YOUR UPDATED one 4 days ago when it was changed to 234,000 miles which Craigslist will soon verify these allegations. At this point you can speak with my lawyer. I'm done attempting to negotiate. I will see you in court and hopefully have your license revoked
