Mr*** came into our dealership with a negative attitudeHe has never had a vehicle worked on in our shop nor has he purchased anything from us at any time in the past yearsHe docs however, come in to get a value on
his vehicle so he can trade it elsewhereWe provide a coupon to people who bought elsewhere for a "FREE OIL CHANGE" up to a *** valueWe would like to have the customer experience our service department and talk to the sales manager to let them know we are here to service them even if they bought elsewhere and to let the sales manager know why we did not cam their businessThis way we can do a better job in the futureAll coupons need to be validated by the sales manager so he can take a minute to find out how we can improveMr*** neglected to follow the instructions got belligerent with the service advisor and when I told the manager to go ahead an provide a free oil change, Mr*** had already stormed outThis is a classic case of someone wanting something for nothingOur advisor explained to the customer that we would get the vehicle up and the lift and find out what filter was on it then make the call to find the priceHe explained that the cost could be up to *** because the vehicle is years old and the oil filters are obsolete to us and not one we would normally stockWe are not *** and do not carry "boak" that tells what off brand vehicle filters are neededOur people would have to go to *** or have one delivered to us for a ChevyThe point is that this customer could have gotten anything he wanted if he had not been looking for a fightDue to insurance regulations, customers are not allowed to be in the service department bays where vehicles are being worked onIf that is what they want and they think this is a game, then maybe they should go back to the dealer they bought the vehicle from

he told the guy he just needed a paper filter and qts of oil never once did he get angrywe waited for over a 1/an hour they should have never sent us a free oil change coupon if they did not want to honor itand furthermore, we do not go in to there business and get a quote on what our car is worth and then take it to another dealerthis was the 2nd time we had been in there and they do not want to deal with us we were looking at a chrysler and would have paid cash if they had not been suck dicks to us and other places can give u a quote before they work on our car, but they just lost a cash paying customer , because we will never step foot in there again sorry to say but they are a *** poor business and all my friends and family will not buy from them either and as far as wanting something for free THEY ARE THE ONES THAT SENT IT TO US , WE NEVER ASKED FOR ITAnd as far as not buying for yrs we have never bought from them because there prices are too high and I am sure they would have messed with our car, for revengethat kind of business can go you know where , We are not hard people to get along with, but cross us and you have a enemy for life , we are old and both in failing health, my husband had a heart attack recently and I had strokes so we do not need the stressso unless they apoligize to us then we are done forever
