In regards to above complaint, #12423485, kindly note there was a delay in refund from our end to the customer/cardholder Steven Cernas as the airline takes time to process its refunds to the sellerThe airline advised the customer they had refunded the penalty amount to agent
but it takes time for the same to reflect at our endWe informed the customer via E-mail on 29th September that airline has notified us regarding same and refund will be duly processedAny refunds from the airline take 4-6 business weeks and this was clearly advised to the customer on 11th September the day of 1st refund processBy the time initial refund was process was done, the airline received a duplicate request for penalty charges from the customer resulting in delay. Please note initial request was sent to airline as customer's father was in a serious accidentThe airline denied any waiver thus a fee of $was chargedLater the customer filed a request directly wit airline to refund the penalty due to sad demise of customer's father, which was thus duly processedWe try our best to help our customers in any situation but as we are in third party and are solely dependent o n airline rules' and discretion.
