took my classic car there to get body work and repainted for a price of 6500.00 / with a cash down payment of $3000.00 that was what was agree ed upon price . I also purchased 2 new quarter panels OF $735.00 they cut off the driver quarter panel took rear bumper off and back window out and was holding my car and said I owed him money for unlisted material cost of $4000.00 but talked him in to letting the car go for $1200.00 which I wrote him a check and stopped payment on just to get my car back he said if I didn't he would make my car disappear and went to the sheriffs office and got my keys and said they would not fill out a complaint/or grand theft auto charge against him and told me this was a civil matter also called them to the shop where I was outside with the body man and neighbor of the business/shop next door who he said would slice their throats and the police said they could not do anything and I said so he can make up any price from a $1000.00 to $20,000.00 and that is ok they told me to go to court to get it back I also had over a $1000.00 dollars in parts in the shop he was holding quarter panels new bumpers that I have receipts for but I got with car
