I replaced my old unit with AHS and they referred this company who Poorly installed a brand new unit in my home that does NOT meet code regulations.
I contacted *** for my AC unit that was not working properly they sent out Affordable comfort and construction to repair but I opted to replace my entire outside and inside unit. I was told that everything was correct. A day later it was not cooling bc the outside unit leaked all the Freon out and the upstairs unit did not have any float switches, they have my air handler on wooden blocks, they did not connect my duct work properly and the

Desired Outcome

I would like to see all the monies I have put extra into this ac unit that was not properly installed refunded back to me as due to me. This unit was inspected by A professional A rated company and was told it does not meet CODE and I could never sale my home with this unit being installed the way it was. I am requesting all labor cost as well as my the two home flooding from my ceiling I have experienced within a 8 month period. I have spent well over 1500 in repairs due to horrible installation on this company's behalf. I had to replace my living room ceiling, my laminate wood floors and furniture that was caused by their installment of this unit. I had to replace a brand new ceiling fan and I very special art work that was drawn by my deceased sister that CANNOT be replaced. I will seek legal advise if this matter is not taken care of by this company. As a consumer, they clearly took advantage of me as a customer and did a very poor job on a brand new unit inside and out. I have learned many things about an AC unit since all this has taken place. I know what an air handler, float switches, cores, drain pipes, plymouth that was replaced when they installed this new unit and duct work done poorly. I was told that the owner was out of state at least 95% of the time and is not always available for contact I contacted this company 6 months ago, 2 weeks ago, and again NOW and still getting the same answers with absolutely no Results.. please help in regards to this matter. ACC was contracted by AHS and they are performing substandard work and not fulfilling obligations as quoted by them and AHS.
ACC has made multiple visits for my one unit for a variety of purported issues not only in the winter months but now the summer as well. The first issue I was told about was my fan motor failing and that was replaced and Freon was added and my unit was for working for all of about two weeks. Then my unit went out almost a week ago and I was told that I needed a new compressor. The tech stated he would try to get the part overnight and if not it might take a few days. I called ACC, when I can get them on the phone, and was told that the tech would be at my home Saturday, June 9, 2018, between one o'clock and three to repair my unit but not one ever came or even called to inform me that they weren't coming. This is the fourth time in less than six months that I've had to call this company to repair my unit and every time it's a different issue. I have had to endure 90 plus degree temperatures because I'm being held hostage by this unprofessional, rude and grotesquely incompetent company. They've sent young, inexperienced techs to my home who cannot solve whatever issue has once again presented itself because of their lack to fully repair my unit only to then finally send someone with a modicum of experience to only get me working for a few weeks, if not less. This company needs to held accountable for their lack of completing work as contracted by *** (American Home *** They are misleading customers and swindling AHS by performing severely subpar work!

Desired Outcome

I want ACC to competently perform their duties as contracted by AHS and repair my unit in a thorough manner so I won't have to call them in another week or two for another issue.

Failed to produce receipt or proof of new unit installation, and continual "new" unit failure w/multiple call outs.
Business was contracted through home warranty. Since we lease house and are a distance away all communication was over the phone. Business recommended A/C unit needed to be replaced inside and out entirely and offered "deal". We said yes. Our tenants were in the hospital but upon return a new air handler was in the attic (no mention of outside unit) but unit was not cooling and company left old air handler in the attic. We personally called business back to fix. Outside temperature cools but "new" A/C unit struggles. Temp turns cold and heat doesn't work. Technician says it is due to extreme temp drop and does nothing. During this time we are trying to get our receipt and warranty paperwork and business refuses to give us the information. They will not give us the information on what was installed either. We had already paid them in full. Why won't they give a receipt showing what model they installed and how much it cost? Have called multiple times, almost daily, and now they won't answer the phone. We had to call another A/C company out at a $225 cost to discover wiring had not been connected properly in the Air Handler.

Desired Outcome

We request our itemized receipt that we need for proof of purchase as well as the $225 it cost for the other A/C company to come out to fix their poor workmanship.

ACC performed AC work and stepped through my ceiling of my spare bedroom 2 weeks ago. They have yet to repair the damage despite promising to fix it.
This company has relocated to Baton Rouge , the phone number is the same, they told me they are trying to establish their business in the Baton Rouge area from Shreveport.

On Monday Oct 9, 2017, ACC came and evaluated an AC issue for *** Home *** They did the repair of the unit on Friday Oct. 20, 2017. During their installation, one of the workers informed me that he put his foot through the ceiling of one of my spare bedrooms. Pictures were taken by myself and the worker the day of the incident. The worker said that he would come back that weekend. He did not. BTW... The worker did not clean up the mess it made in the bedroom.

They had to come back (I believe he date was Friday, Oct. 27, 2017) to do additional repairs on the unit and I asked when the ceiling would be fixed. I believe the person that came by was the owner and he said .. "you are the one with the damaged ceiling?". He assured me they would be by to fix the ceiling. He took additional pictures.

On the 30th, some workers came by and did not have the proper supplies to fix the ceiling. Obviously, no one at ACC shared the pictures. They said they would come back and repair the hole on November 1, 2017. They did not show up.

I have been trying to call the business and they do not pick up the phone or return my phone calls. They do however answer phone calls from *** Home *** suggested I get the insurance information from ACC. I have requested the information but doubt that they will respond.

They promised to come by today (November 6, 2016) after 4 p.m. It is now after 6 p.m. with no phone calls from them and no one showing up at the house.

I am sure the cost of the repair is less than $100; but, I should not have to pay for their employee's negligence. Therefore, I am entering this complaint with the Revdex.com.

Desired Outcome

I want the business to fix the hole in the ceiling caused by the negligence of one of ACC's workers. I have no problems with their ability to work on AC units. I do have a problem with them not fixing the damage caused by one of their workers and I should not have to chase them down.
