Thumbs Up!
Affordable Creations is a reliable entity who offers affordability and quality for their jewelry. My experiences with them have reflected their dedication to delivering their jewelry. I have seen mixed reviews about them, but they are not a scam. They offer transparent practices, punctuality, and customer-centric values. In my interactions, Affordable Creations has upheld a professional standard that sets them apart in a market where reliability is hard to find.

$3000 US ring only valued at $475 CAD
$3000 US ring only valued at $475 CAD , cost me more .
and that was for insurance purposes only , so practically worthless !
Tried to contact 4 times , totally ignored.

Paid $2140 USD and got nothing
Not only the worst experience ever, I lost $2140 USD and received nothing!
On the top of that the one answering the phone stating that he is a manager which I doubt (Ashoke) more than unprofessional, dispolit, and said it clearly yes I'm not professional do what you wanna do get your lawyer in I'll not waste my time! (This is because I called following up where is my shipment)
Not recommended at all unless you have money to throw away!
My lawyer will be in soon, will get my money back and as I promised this will be announced in social media so no one will be fooled by this unprofessional person!

Bought ring on 5-18 for $500+ description said SIZE 7. Upon winning immediately sent email requesting Insured / Signature shipping. Next day sent another email - no replies. Called and left message. Ring shows up in my mail box a week later - no insurance, no signature. There policy is not responsible after it leaves our office. Opened box to find tag says Size 7.5, same ring as advertised ? Sent email on 5-26 asking what they will do, local jeweler quoted minimum of $39 for resizing. Got reply from Wali stating 1/2 size off is acceptable but if I wanted to get a picture of it on a ring gauge they would look into what they could do. Took picture of their ring tag stating SIZE 7.5 and replied via email on 5-27. On 6-1 I sent follow up email asking where we were at - no reply. On 6-18 I sent additional email - no reply.

Dear Customer,
Thank you for your interest & purchase in our auction.
We received your complaint about the issue, and we requested you to send an image to verify your claim, but we never received one. Further, difference of 0.5 in the ring size may be because of the improper fitting on the ring on the sizer or improper measurements.
Furthermore, as per our terms & conditions minor variation in product is possible and all sales are final. And you are not satisfied with your purchase, we offer full refund within 7 days return window. Please refer our policies for more information.
If you are still unsatisfied with the ring, please send merchandise back to us or get in touch with us and we will initiate refund.
Please accept our sincere apology for unpleasant experience. We are dedicated to offer best possible auction experience to our bidders.
Thank you.

Unfortunately according to your auction terms, your FULL refund does not include the 10% buyers premium or shipping costs.
Standard refund is 20% restocking PLUS 10% buyers premium plus shipping costs.
So a standard refund will COST ME $200
A full refund will cost me $100
I didn't realise "as is, where is, with all flaws included mis-advertising.
Ad says Size 7, mfg ring tag says Size 7.5

+1

This company participates in online auction sales . Their items are beautifully photographed and many have " appraisals" that are more than exaggerated . Received items very quickly , great shipping etc . But the finish on my rings are rough and the pieces look fake . I paid a very low price realizing the value was super inflated and the stone ratings were not the greatest so I made low bids ...but I would have expected smooth finishes on the gold . They mass produce and if you *** the appraisal company it looks like ***.

Dear Maureen,
Thank you for participating in our auctions.
Appraisals are to identify gems and metal contents, appraised value or any value mentioned in appraisal is the opinion of the appraiser.
Further, we take photo of each lot and list lot for sale in auction, AS IS WHERE IS WITH ALL ITS FAULTS (mentioned in the terms and conditions). We also offer custom appraisal from appraiser of your choice within Toronto. Further, we host unreserved auction which means we sell to the winner past starting bid.

We encourage all bidders to read product description, terms and conditions & shipping policy.

I hope this clarifies your doubt.
Once again, thank you for your interest in our auctions.

Billed invoice #*** dated 8/22/2018 I had gotten a set of 15 items for a total of $2,971.94 USD through an online site ***.com which has advertised wrong and exaggerated information about its products (which I later found out). 4 of which are supposed to be high-value items.

1. $1200 - 14K Diamond Ring 1 x 1,200.00 - 14K Diamond (app 1.17ct + 0.26ct) Ring. Retail $17000
2. $650 - 14K Diamond Ring 1 x 650.00 - 14K Diamond (app 0.5ct + 0.1ct) Ring. Retail $9200
3. $300 - 10/14kt. *** (2.63ct) Necklace 1 x 300.00 - 10/14kt. *** (2.63ct) Diamond (0.17ct) Necklace. Retail $8600
4. $200 - 14K Amethyst (app 15ct) & CZ Earrings 1 x 200.00 - 14kt. White Gold Amethyst (15ct) & Cubic Zirconia Large Earrings. Retail $4000

Other 11 items are less than $100 each but claim a retail value of astronomical value.

1. I bought the items thinking it will have some value (the purchase value) even if it did not have the retail value since they seem to be used. But to my shock, the values of these items were extremely low. For example, the item 1. listed above 14k Diamond ring purchased for $1200 which claims it retail value or replaceable value $17000 was false advertisement. Two different local jewelers in Atlanta confirmed that the ring is not even worth $200. Same with the other 3 high-value items in the above list to not even 20% of the purchased value. Because of untrue statements on the high value items, I do not trust the value and authenticity on the other items purchased here and wanted to return the entire purchase. When contacted the seller for a return because of the false advertising, the seller says according to their policy they will deduct 10% return fee.

2. When I received the package, I was charged a customs duty of over $200 which I was not aware of until I ordered. The seller at the customs hold time, told me that only for the items not made in Canada which were the 5 watches under $50 each purchased prices there should be duty if any. But the duty was on the whole purchase.

Desired Outcome

Refund I requested for a full refund because. I am not returning because of a dislike of the product but a false advertising of the product and its value. So I do not think they should charge me the return fee with all the trouble caused at customs and the anxiety involved in getting false products. The fair resolution will be to refund me 100% of my purchase price.

Sorry for the delay as I was away from the country for a business trip for a month and have informed the customer of my absence. *** is currently involved and investigating the case based upon the customers complaint.

We have maintained beyond the call of general practices of auctioneers to offer refunds.
Our general statement of our auction is all sales are final and items are sold as is. However, we offer customers who return the goods and will refund the customer all money less 15% towards relisting, restocking items and incidental expenses like shipping & handling, *** fees etc. as per terms and conditions of our auctions.
Upon insistence from our customer, we have dropped our return fee to 10%.

The customer has also reported to AmEx and *** and will hopefully get back to you shortly. In the meantime, we have understood that the customer has returned the goods without any agreement.

We stand behind our products of what we sell in the auctions and guarantee that the customer can not buy or replace the goods in retail at the price that they have paid.
The customer has not provided any proof or appraisal that the goods purchased by them are not worth the amount paid by the customer. Contrarily they have requested to us to submit appraisals for items not originally appraised which has not been paid for worth $100USD.

Customs duty and taxes are the responsibility of the buyer and related issues must be raised with appropriate customs authorities as per terms and conditions.

*** They have been *** us, disrupting business and making unnecessary threats for legal actions for a small amount.

Customer Response • Oct 02, 2018

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
*** Falsely advertising and on top very uncooperative and has continued to provide u true statements. I contacted them immediately the same day I received the products about its quality and return. But was given the stories of how he was traveling which means nothing to me as a buyer. This could have been solved by offering the refund. But he did not. And appraisals mean nothing but a insurance purpose document it speaks nothing to it's actual value or authenticity. *** From the beginning even before I reached out to Revdex.com and Amex for help. I only wanted one thing. Refund my money in its entirety because I'm not returning due to a choice in product but because the product advertised was seriously misrepresented or not true. So I cannot accept their deductions of any percentage to my payment. I contacted the same day about it but was give stories of their travels. Again if they will respond to Amex or *** that they will offer the refund there will be resolution but the seller is adamant. And I do not want to loose $300 of my hard earned money because this sellers false practices.
