Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 10, 2017/12/28) */ I am writing this letter in Ref to case # [redacted] , [redacted] We first saw her on Jan 26, She had already been to another office they did a prior Authorization and x-rayOn 5-16-our office extracted her remaining teeth and placed maxillary and mandibular denturesShe returned the following day for post-op6/3/she failed her appointment, 6/6/we removed a bone spur and placed a soft relineWe explained to the patient to return around the end of July for an adjustment or hard relineWe did not hear from the patient mentioned above until 3/21/we removed a bone spurWe informed the patient that her insurance covered her hard reline from six months at the start of treatment and it was now past the time frame and we would need to submit for the service4/16/she called up upset about ill fitting denturesI explained to the patient that procedures and treatment she was suppose to return for, she stated she knew that she had not followed thru as advised7/12/she returned for the hard reline in the morning and returned in the afternoon, we had difficulty fitting it over her tori and the maxillary denture was too tightWe rescheduled for 7/21/she came in we took the impressions for new dentures at no cost, we did a try in and took a new biteWe retried it in again pt was happy and delivered the dentures that afternoonWe did not hear or see the patient again until OctoberOn 10/17/pt came in stating the top denture would not stay up we did an adjustment the denture and placed a soft liner at not cost, when the patient left she stated she was happy and the denture felt much betterWe have not heard from the patient until we received a letter from the Revdex.comWe are willing to do a refund back to the state for the amount that was paid by them once we receive the dentures back as well as release the prior authorization If you have any questions of concerns please do not hesitate to contact us a the number noted aboveThank in advacane for your time and consideration Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (3000, 12, 2018/01/04) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
