It is a scary thing when you realize that your teeth have failed you and you need denturesNot just the worry about the look and feel and eating, but cost and discomfort as wellI consulted with top Spokane denture dentists as I wanted implant denturesThey had beautiful offices and said they had best dentures and processAnd all had a price between 15k-30kYIKES! Then found in my online search my 5th consult, Affordable Dentures in SpokaneNo, it is not a pretty officeYes, it is in a strip centerYes, it is crowded with peopleBUT...the staff, techs and doctors there were super niceMade me feel unashamed (note: family history of soft teeth, never had braces and a perfect bright white smile) and took time talking with meThey had mini-implants availableThe price...way, way, way better and with c*** insurance, monthly payments made it very affordableAfter impressions etc, I went in for the extractions and temporary dentureI felt nothing! I remember nothingWhatever that pill was, it workedThe discomfort was tolerable and I needed the pain pills provided for just one week, though I had enough for a monthFollappoints (all included in the price) were gentleMy temporary denture was worn for year to ensure my mouth and month shape, jaw bones etc were fully healedThe expensive dentists skip this important stepAfter the year, mini-implantsAgain, no pain feltAnd the new dentures which were much better in grade and appearance made me feel 'normal' againI can eat what I wantI can smile and talk betterThe staff and the dentists and techs really care about youSo, get over the office 'look'These are excellent doctors and staffI highly recommend them There 'product' is just as good as the 30k dentistsSo SMILE! Its the best place to go

I witnessed an employee cut up plastic x-ray machine covers for where your mouth goes on with bare hands on a community front desk counter top with everyday scissors The employee then placed one on a machine and had a woman place her mouth on it Not conscientious of the cross contamination that she was performing

We try to be a good Christians. My spouse, who helps take care of me, is a 100% service connected Vietnam War era disabled US veteran. I have TBI and dyslexia from neonatal injury. He is a former teacher, and we both have bachelor's degrees. As you can see, we are on a fixed income, so we were very happy to read about Spokane Affordable Denture. I chose the second most expensive package. Some of the staff were just angels; I have to give them that . My upper teeth were pulled; I was put on one week of antibiotics and anti-pain medication after the extractions, which were complicated. The pain continued to worsen, and I have migraines and endometriosis, so I'm no wuzz. My entire gum area was yellow, enflamed and just dripping puss. My spouse took me back to Affordable Denture were one of the dental assistants told me that, I ," ... should not be feeling any pain..." but that I should put their "healing denture in, " when I was in such intense discomfort that I couldn't TOUCH certain portions of my gums , even lightly, with my fingers. A couple of days later ---- obviously because of the infection raging in my mouth, I began running a 102 degree fever. My spouse took me to hospital urgent care, where we were told I had, "...been given the wrong anti-biotic," and that the pain med I had gotten was not strong enough to deal with the level of pain I was experiencing . Which was just UNREAL. I was given more and stronger anti-biotics and serious pain medication at the clinic and told to return if I didn't seem to improve soon ---- which I did, except that my upper gums were just riddled with runny puss pockets from infected tissue, which I sopped up with paper towels, and the pain level was about a steady seven. We contacted Affordable Dental, and they told me , again, that I shouldn't have pain, and to START WEARING MY "UPPER HEALING DENTURE. " Sure. At that juncture, NOBODY could have done that.I used up all of the urgent care prescriptions. For awhile I was bedbound. Time passed; I continued to debride my horrible looking/feeling gums with Q-Tips and some anti-biotic mouth rinse I had from a previous dentist. After several months now, my upper gum tissue is ALMOST HEALED and PAIN FREE. I will be honest about Affordable Dentures, and say my teeth are/were in bad shape, so I didn't present with simple extractions. On the other hand, however, I don't know how our communications could have been ANY WORSE. I have sent written notes to them and do not think even that has been effective. My dental work is STILL LOCKED INTO AFFORDABLE DENTURES. ( i.e. I paid for both upper and lower extractions and upper and lower dentures PRIOR to the work. So HAVE TO FOLLOW THROUGH IF I WANT PULLED LOWER TEETH AND DENTURES/ ) To be frank, I'm APPREHENSIVE TO SAY THE LEAST because I DO NOT WANT TO HAVE TO GO THROUGH THAT SAME TRIAL of BEING IN PAIN and being told I WASN'T HURTING , instructed to wear a "healing denture " I COULDN'T PUT IN MY MOUTH and that DIDN'T FIT, and RUNNING A HIGH FEVER FROM A RELATED INFECTION, while being told the involved AREA WASN'T INFECTED. Which anyone could have seen.
Clearly, I CAN'T JUST LOSE ALL OUR SAVINGS AND GO TO ANOTHER DENTIST, so THERE MUST BE SOME WAY WE CAN COMMUNICATE EFFECTIVELY WITH THE GOOD PEOPLE AT AFFORDABLE DENTURE, SO THAT I CAN HAVE A RELITIVELY SAFE, not so excruciatingly painful, DISEASED EXTRACTION , FOLLOWED BY USEFUL, FITTING DENTURES. The service was outstanding, in one day had the implants done and both upper ans lower dentures done. The Doctor and staff are the best. Had to go back the next day for a minor adjustment and it was quickly taken care of.

Review: I orderd bottom dentures with mini pins on 6-24-2014. when they came, they were regular dentures, not ones for mini pins. they refused to admit they made a mistake. I paid $605 for them. I had to go to another dentist to have it done right!Desired Settlement: they can have these worthless dentures back if they want! I just want my money back

Patient had appintment on 7/21/14 to have 2 implants placed and added to the denture. Patient did not show or call to let us know she was not coming in. Patient also had not paid for the implants. She had extractions done and two weeks later we were to place the implants. She had to have some healing before we could place them. If patient wants a refund, she will need to return the denture to the office, fill out the refund paperwork and then the refund can be processed. It will have to be refunded the same way it was paid for.

Then found in my online search my 5th consult, Affordable Dentures in Spokane. No, it is not a pretty office. Yes, it is in a strip center. Yes, it is crowded with people. After impressions etc, I went in for the extractions and temporary denture. I felt nothing! I remember nothing. Whatever that pill was, it worked. The discomfort was tolerable and I needed the pain pills provided for just one week, though I had enough for a month. Follow-up appoints (all included in the price) were gentle. My temporary denture was worn for 1 year to ensure my mouth and month shape, jaw bones etc were fully healed. The expensive dentists skip this important step. After the year, mini-implants. Again, no pain felt. And the new dentures which were much better in grade and appearance made me feel 'normal' again. I can eat what I want. I can smile and talk better. The staff and the dentists and techs really care about you. So, get over the office 'look'. These are excellent doctors and staff. I highly recommend them There 'product' is just as good as the 30k dentists. So SMILE! Its the best place to go.

I was pleasantly surprised by my very positive experience. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. I was not rushed or talked into anything I didn't want. I received an upper denture and a lower partial. Everything was done in 1 day. The fit very satisfactory. I only needed a few slight adjustments afterwards. The upper denture gives me a beautiful smile I can be proud of. I can't say enough good things about Dr Wilden and his staff. They pitch in for one another so wait time is minimal and within reason. Because Affordable Dentures and located around the country, I'm going to be able to get adjustments complimentary in Florida while I'm visiting friends since it will be within my 60 days of free adjustments. I give them and A+. I got the economy set.
