his initial visit, the process of how the gums shrink and change and the denture needs to be relined over and over again to keep up with the changing tissue for the first year.  He signed the check off information explaining the things to expect during the healing phase.  Then after the year we make a second set of dentures when the healing has happened in the bone.  The "mess" that the patient is concerned about is part of the healing and needs to return for alignments of the dentures.  This was explained to him as to all of our patients with their first denture.   He called our office last week being very unruly, impatient, interrupting and speaking loudly to the front desk.   He was offered an appointment but refused.  His fee was $3474, this included 15 extractions removal of exostosis in two quadrants and an x-ray, and two full sets of dentures (an immediate denture and a final denture).  If all the complaints our office has is over ill-fitting immediate dentures then that is the normal situations for a new denture wearer, and we are here at no extra charge to fix the dentures as healing occurs.   I will give the patient a call to see what can be done.
