Affordable Dry Basement Company

Sadly this company is not who they used to be. Owner is a stellar man who was kind as could be. Bad choice of employees - who would hang up on a person who has requested they fix a job that was poorly done after calling twice. Excuse was they are booked up a month in advance. Moral of the story is you are only as good as your last job..the cement used to seal a crack is all over the ceiling tile. No repair yet!!!

They claim to offer a lifetime guarantee but will not answer the phone or return any phone calls.

In June of 2015, Affordable Dry Basement repaired water seepage/leak on a poured cement wall. The leak was detected at the expansion joint in the wall. The seepage would leave puddling on the cement floor below the expansion joint. It was repaired with a urethane injection. The repair came with a “Lifetime of the Structure Warranty.” In late February of 2018, water puddling reappeared in the same location on the basement. I contacted , owner of Affordable Dry Basement. He stated they would honor their warranty and fix the repair. I had to hire another contractor to remove sheets of drywall and shelving that covered the cement wall at the area of needed repair. I called Affordable Dry Basement on numerous occasions to get the repair completed. I only made contact with an answering machine that said they would call back as soon as possible. They never called me back to confirm receiving my many calls and/or to arrange a repair date. I’m now in the position of possibly having to hire another contractor to assess and repair the problem that Affordable Dry Basement gave me a lifetime warranty on. Then I have to rehire the contractor to put the drywall and shelving back up over the repaired wall. This does not seem ethically or legally right. What course of action do I have?

This company is a total fraud. We brought our house in 2003 and just before we got it, the owners had life time warranty from this company and I do have the paper work. They had come and repaired the cracks in the basement few times. But, today when I called that guy he came and he is very rude and when I told him that they have repaired before and we did buy the house with the contract, he called me a lier and left. He is a real fraud guy and very very rude and bias towards people who are not like him. Hope Revdex.com takes some action against this company.
